It is not just cool.... it is useful. I created a tiny dot the size of the Video Record stupid button Sony gave us on the A6300 and A6500 cameras. having this dot there created a raised button, just enough that it is easy to press and feel the click of pressing the button.
It does NOT leave any stains and you must be aware that its purpose is to be used and done. Because when it is dried out, it cannot be used.
Amazon sell this products in small packets, and there are 10 colored packets in one order. I only opened one packet to create the buttons for both my cameras. There rest dried and had to be discarded....

gallium may not be toxic however the oxides that gallium produces when in air are toxic, also gallium on its own can cause skin irritation.

Sugru is absolutely amazing. I have used it and LOVE it.
I do a lot of craft and use really fine-pointed embroidery scissors which have the habit of going through everything they're stored with, so I made a little sugru point-cover, and put a little hole in the end of the cover so I put a piece of ribbon through the hole and tied it to the scissor handle, so I never lose the point-cover.
I had a problem with my sewing cabinet (a Horn Cabinet) - Whenever I used the leaf that opens to put the overlocker on one of my dogs would knock the door and it would open so widely the leaf would drop and I'd have to catch it before it broke. I used Sugru to create a little door-stop which stopped the door opening so widely and saved my table from breaking (and saved me having to catch a falling overlocker!!!).
Suffice it to say the stuff is bloody brilliant. The video has reminded me that I've run out and have to go order some more! :D
