    As far as Item 3 is concerned, I dare to comment as follows:
    A) TO GET TO KNOW is a process of becoming familiar with that person or place, i.e.(a) dozvědět se něco, (b) poznat něco/někoho,
    (c) seznámit se = over an extended period of time (!)
    B) In all your examples, TO MEET, i.e. seznámit se, potkat, poznat - poprvé, should have been used instead, I think. (I met him in ......; Meeting people is....; He hasn’t met me yet.)
    Here is an illustration of the above difference: I met Mark on his first day at work. We got to know each other when we worked on a project together.

    It should be "They already live in a different place". But we can use preposition on with a farm. " They already live on a farm".
