- Podcast Overview: Mau P & Will discuss the journey to success in the music industry, collaborating with artists and producers and the power of TikTok in promoting music.
Who Is Mau P: Mau P has made a major impact on the house music scene in a remarkably short space of time. He found an unconditional love for dance music at the age of 14. He now effortlessly channels his musical skillset, and raw talents into his music and DJ sets. Mau P emerged as an unstoppable force in electronic music with the impact of his debut single, Drugs From Amsterdam, amassing a staggering 200 million streams across platforms. His trajectory skyrocketed with the release of Metro - a collaboration with Kevin de Vries - on Afterlife Records. Following the success of his originals, Mau P was tapped to remix Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and Armand van Helden, solidifying his place among the elite. Venturing across continents, Mau P's performances have sold out venues globally, including solo shows during Miami Music Week and Amsterdam Dance Event. 2024 started with announcing headlining performances at Space Miami, New York’s Knockdown Center and The Caverns in Tennessee, as well as the release of his most anticipated track to date Beats For The Underground. Additionally, Mau P announced a residency at Wynn in Las Vegas’s Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub and a SiriusXM weekly radio show named XXX Radio, further underscoring his ascent to full-fledged stardom.

Love these two guys. Mau P and Eli Brown are the two artists that blew up after covid. They are juggernauts when it comes to music production.
I just ran across this, and I'm not kidding, Jesus said, watch it. Wow, this was one of the best interviews I've seen. Just the love you can feel through you both. The humility is golden. Thank you all. Very encouraging. It all makes sense now. Giving up, is not an option 🏆. Thank you both, God bless you. Galatians 6:9 I love you all
ohh yes Maurice West when he was big room
2024 is your breakout year Will your guests have been top tier and your skill of storytelling and asking questions is not unnoticed! Doesn't sound like a monotone citizenship interview lol. As someone that was a DJ for 10+ years and into the EDM scene this is gold for us. Keep it up bro!

Amazing podcast 👏🏼
Wow. I totally understand the new project / new name thing. Mine was this year and struggled to decide to change it. But this fits my vibe now and after decades of being an open format dj. Not by choice. I get to explore my house side which always took second fiddle. Great show. Also I am the Dj you walked behind in Houston while I was playing my Indo House set 😂. 🫡🙌🏽
Mau P drops fire sets, and this is a fire pod🤙Gonna watch every episode

Thanks so much
Interesting perspective on how a name change could be a game changer
Got me drugs from Amsterdam, that's the only reason for his succes, people love to sing that.
Yet to be honest, that song is a bit annoying, not that good. It's all about that vocal, people love it because they are on drugs.
However you got to give him credit for Metro, yet that's probably more on Kevin de Vries :-)
Good thing i love his songs without taking drugs ;)

Love this interview. We're relating hard on so much of what Mau P was saying so it's really refreshing to hear from someone who's gone through some of the same stuff we're dealing with come out on top. PS: Check out our Drugs from Amsterdam remix haha 👀😎

I had no idea he produced drugs from Amsterdam because the first time for me was a drum and bass rinse 🚿 🤩🖤
@10:58 The lesson is free your mind and those asses will follow 😂

What’s the secret to not redlining?! Fuck!
interview party favor aka half of side piece aka Dylan R.
Big ups
Maurice's accent is not what I expected. Almost sounds like one of my American friends, but with that Dutch slipping through every now and then.
Mau P x Fly P

Will Clarke makes the best tech house
Thanks
Great interview as always mate, feel like there's not a single podcast that brings this many big artists like you do. It would be fun if you ever brought Cloonee, I haven't found any interviews with him and probably has a lot to say
We are working on it :)
@@willclarkedj That's amazing!! Thanks

Good podcast but I’m sure you don’t like working with people after escape drama

Julius got exposed 😂
repopulate mars have like huge tracks now and they still be making those ugly cheap looking covers, i would like labels would put a little bit more effort in that aspect especially how big that label is
Something about him is off putting. The minimal amount of emotion. The not dancing on stage. It’s giving Jeffery Dahmer vibes.
What a dumb comment
Dont always have to be over the top though and dramatic
this guys music is generic trendy garbage, he would completely bomb at a real festival or party that cares about music and not clout
You are allowed your opinion but I disagree
