Fun Fact: Roy's Neutral special has higher knockback growth before being fully charged. Ideally, you want to start charging it when Xander says "4". You'll know if you got it depending on how Roy screams.
Yeah I've noticed that when I wanted to make a great record in sm4sh as Roy. I had to be really frame perfect so that I am near the end of the charging neutral B but not reaching it. I've got a really good score :D

@@megaman7424 Ot actially does, just did a consitent set-up where I dealt 146% before the very final hit.
Tipper Homerun Bat went up to 384 km
Reverse Warlock Punch went to 531 km
I did have a different result when it was just at 137%, where they were pretty much equal (the bat won by a 10 or so km difference) but Reverse Warlock Punch does scale better.

Dang was really looking forward to the double Ganon with the double reverse warlock finisher (surprised y'all didn't know about reverse warlock being stronger than the bat), now I need a part 2!

So you guys were using Roy's Neutral B. Great! That's absolutely stronger than the bat.
However, Roy's Neutral B is actually stronger if you DON'T fully charge it.
The full charge will do more damage, but if you release the attack moments before it reaches full charge, it will do noticably more knockback than the fully charged version, despite doing less damage.
You'll know if you accidentally get the full charge based on Roy's voice clip. It's different when fully charged compared to just a high power strike.

The Bat starts High and goes higher, Warlock-Punch starts low but gets way higher than the bat at some point (I think Warlock-Punch's Knockback is exponential while Bat's Knockback is linear)
warlock punch is better than the bat, you can set crazy records with it even without turbo
You could probably easily reach max damage with Ness's PK Fire spam. There is also Kazuya's Down Smash. (I was featured in one of your videos submitted by someone else. 'SpoOky' the HRC with Ice Climbers. I love HRC. I would love to see more for sure. ^_^)
I'd like to see you try this again with more teams. I feel that their are some broken turbo strats you guys haven't tried to lock the opponent in place, like with multi-hit moves like Icies up tilts and just cancelling out of them before the finishers. I also feel like this needs a revisit for Ganon and Roy. Roy's neutral B is its strongest when it's almost fully charged and weaker when he takes damage. Chrom is better for that, because his is strongest with both of the timings, he just takes damage for not timing it out as a penalty. Also reverse warlock punch outperforms the bat at 29%, and the input window only needs 21 frames to be locked into starting even if the entire move is 4x longer. It should always be attempted when Ganondorf is on the field, even if it means sacrificing the bat swing cause it launches to quickly if you're doing the punch last second.
When you dont warlock punch at the end to launch the sandbag
Personal strategy: Roy (3x Down tilt, forward air, 2x F smash, neutral b) + Ness (roll, side b)
Something to note with Roy's neutral B is that if you do a turnaround and attack before it's fully charged you'll get the most knock back out of the attack.

Guys, reverse warlock punch is stronger than the bat. My Ganon high score is over 1100 unmodded, just use his punch instead of the bat

Why are they not using Ganon's neutral b? It's way more powerful than the baseball bat. I have a better score without using turbo mode.
I’m fairly certain a previous patch made the bat pretty much the only way to get a high score by making strong moves launch much less far
@@beeftips1628 I launched the game to test and made a new record at 640 using neutral B.
Now I tried to use combined knock back by throwing the bat up and did 680 km.

@@niromr5613As someone who's done possibly too much Turbo Mode HRC, Reverse Warlock Punch is far better than the Homerun Bat Forward Smash.

I won't if Plants poison might contribute more damage while Ganon does his thing into a reverse warlock punch
With turbo on, I’d expect that Ness alternating between spamming Side B and Forward smash would do a ton of damage. possibly even getting past 300%
Or piranha plant’s side B combined with spamming the home run bat, (the poison cloud negates the knockback)
