    I would love to see a video on which lighting lanes to prioritize in each park close together. We went last year and I felt like we were going from 1 end of the park to the other constantly. We got all the "big" rides in durning Spring break but was a lot of steps!!! We are going in August this year and hoping the crowds won't be so bad.

      That’s a fantastic idea! I was focusing a lot on saving time/the best rides, but minimizing back tracking is also something good to keep in mind.
      August almost always has low crowds after the first week once school starts. Hope you have a great trip!

      @Guide2WDW Thanks so much. With your videos and tips and tricks, i am sure we will. We arrive on the 18th and are staying for the week. I am hoping that some kids will be back in school.
      Saving time with getting lighting lanes close together would be ideal for sure. Badge into one and hopefully book another close by. Time is money in Disney

      100% agree! By the 18th, crowds typically have gone down. It will be hot, so stay hydrated, but you'll have a blast! 😄

      Thank you so much! I currently have a video breaking down the crowds and events from October last year, a lot of which will still be relevant for this year. Otherwise, stay tuned, because I have a lot more tips and helpful info coming up!

      Dang, that stinks because it’s an awesome ride. Hopefully you will have better luck next time. Check out my Virtual Queue guide, which can help: ua-cam.com/video/km7RUMG5qJY/v-deo.htmlsi=0-t_moixBliBIybJ

    I’m going to Disney for the first time in years this summer. The whole lightning lane system seems stressful to try to get as many of the best rides, especially if you plan to park hop. It looks like a lot of it is luck.

    • @Guide2WDW
      @Guide2WDW  5 місяців тому

      It can be complicated and overwhelming at first! But once you figure the system out, you can save a ton of time. On the busiest days, there is a factor of luck, but I also have several strategies and techniques that help my family consistently get Lightning Lanes for the rides we want. Hopefully the next few videos I make will help increase your luck too!

      think about which rides are most important to your group then go from there i can also add that in animal kingdom lines arent awful so u can use your lightning lanes for a different park when there and in epcot aswell other then remys

    What strategy do you recommend to get VQs on rides at the 7am time? Seems the 7am VQ release sells out in 1/100000th of a second.

      Great question! I have a video on the topic with my preferred way to join and some other tips: ua-cam.com/video/km7RUMG5qJY/v-deo.html
      I am working on an update to the Virtual Queue video because a few things are different this year, like where it is in the app and the ride lineup. I'm also going to include info about using a World Clock, very similar to what's in my Genie+ guide. That new VQ video should be on the channel in the next week or two.

    I love the first 15 seconds of the video with the joke about Disney's check clearing so you can talk about it in a brighter more positive light. Me however wondering why this video got recommended to me, is my absolute seething hatred towards Disney due to this abomination somehow picked up in UA-cam's algorithm?

    Great and informative video. Nice job! One recommendation I’d give is to present median sell out times instead of average sell out times. Averages can be grossly driven by outliers so things like Spring Break or the Holiday seasons which could really skew your data.
    For example, there are 10 people in a bar. The median income of everyone is $47,000. The average income is $100 million. One of those people is Bill Gates.
    Overall though this did show some really interesting insights, so well done!

      Thank you for the kind words and the analytic insight! That's a great way to make sure those crazy busy days during the holidays don't skew things too much, like when Flight of Passage had a 5 and a half hour wait. I'll definitely keep this in mind in the future!

    Woke Disney money grab sucks. Horrible vacation unless you like waiting in line with people and getting bounced around like a pinball all day with the amount of people.

    Im considering switching me and my partner to Disney Annual passes from our current universal ones but I don’t wanna buy Genie+ or Lightning lanes when I go, is it even worth it then?

    • @Guide2WDW
      @Guide2WDW  5 місяців тому +1

      For most of the time, I wouldn't recommend Genie+ if you're an Annual Passholder and you're visiting often. One of the joys of being an AP is that you can visit often enough that it's ok to not go on every ride every time you go. Since there is no annual option to add Genie+, it can easily add up. Use other line minimizing strategies like rope drop or Single Rider, or save Genie+ for a day when you decide you want to go on as many rides as possible.
