So much to love about this home! I love all the outdoor living areas. Summer parties would be fun there! The living room is a bit small but living area is an open concept that I want.
Kitchen work space and storage is not adequate at all. Putting cabinetry under the stairs would help some except the prep space. The dining table in the support beams looks cute but not enough seating space for guests in the winter, nor is there enough space to have it free standing table and chairs. I don’t care for the washer/dryer where it is, and I have concerns about how it’s vented to the exterior. Lower level bathroom is disconnected from the bedroom, a minor issue. Both are workable. The LOFT IS SPECIAL, perfect area for my office & room for storage and a sofa bed. Master Suite is perfection, but I would prefer it be on the lower level of the home.

I opt for function rather than form, so my preference is for single entrance doors rather than double, a TV at a more comfortable viewing height and a simple standard table rather than the built-in picnic style here. I'm not fond of "backsplash" windows, which are lower than my eye level and tend to push upper cabinets higher. I'd definitely need more counter space for food prep and small appliances, and more storage space. In that open concept area I'd find the sound of the washing machine annoying. These are all just preferences, not necessarily deal breakers, but taken together would deter me. The downstairs bedroom could easily have direct access to the bathroom rather than having to traipse through the living room to get there. I like the upstairs bedroom suite with the potential for an open mezzanine workspace.

What company builds these homes? I am worried about the width of the home itself. Would it be legal for transportation on the road with a width of 19'5"? Could it be redesigned with an additional 10' of length, that would give more room for the living room and kitchen?
