I was dating a girl about 20 years ago whose Uncle ran over his step kid. There was 3 kids out there A 13 yo 10 to and a 3 year old. The older kids were watching the baby, it happened in a blink of an eye. The baby did not make it, and her Uncle ended up taking his own life a couple years later from guilt. You two are great parents, thanks for all of yalls hard work.
The kids will 100% remember. Those who say otherwise might have had forgettable childhoods or have never had children and or watched their children grow to adulthood and have children of their own. Families that play together typically stay together and the retelling of adventures around campfires cement memories deeply for those participating. Great video. Thank you for your hard work and sharing. 🔥🔥❤️❤️💯🐳
I'm 57 and have memories of going to great barrier reef.I was 3. So the memories you all is priceless. Family will remind us of things and you amazingly remember. Keep enjoying life to Max before you get old.
We travelled around Australia when the road across the Nullarbor was dirt when we were kids, yes I know I’m getting on lol but I remover so much of it. The memories of that has made me want to get back on the road and live the and enjoy this amazing country . I can’t wait until you ring me to say I’ve won so I can start to live my dream. Your awesome children will have all these clips to go back and watch to refresh their memories and I’m sure they will be do the same with their kids later on. Keep travelling and having fun and stay safe. Love you guys ❤
Loving what cartwrights are achieving the good karma you guys are in for will be life changing. Giving the opportunity to people to walk a day in your life is nothing but amazing. We used to travel a lot before k got sick in 2020 and to be able to achieve this again is on my bucket list. Well done guys
You and your family are living an AWESOME life together ! As others have mentioned ... NO THEY WONT FORGET!! And the things they do forget will be highlighted in these wonderful videos you are making ..... It's a modern-day equivalent of looking at old photos on the projector or watching the old home cinema films of the time..... members captured for all eternity ❤️
Your kids are getting the best education life can give. There are so many things they are experiencing now that will benefit them in adult life. Well done, you're doing good things for your loved ones They will look back fondly on their childhood.
Answer this question... what is it that we DO remember? My opinion is that yes, we remember places, experiences, views, occasions, skills, abilities, connections, conversations and other living beings. These are all tangible and what we often take photos of, however FEELINGS are what will last for a lifetime, and how we feel about all/any of those memories. I enjoy watching your channel and thank you for sharing your honesty, humour, vulnerability and sensitivity. Compliments to you for your performance[s] in the fine orchestra of life all together, sharing and caring, learning and growing, loving and supporting each other as you travel. 🤗😁
Well guys I so LOVED this episode! Every second of it. Your beautiful babies are living their very best lives. I watch you guys interacting with your kids and the total joy on all of your faces does my heart good! Go Eevee! You drive that beast of a truck and by the way I had no doubt that youd do a fantastic job of it. I dont think theres too many girls your age who could say that the drove an NPS on a beach at sunset. I have faith in you girl! I do believe that youll master everything you put your hands to in your life. Now regarding the statement that the kids wont remember??? As I see it you make their lives soo memorable and its done with so much love and joy. Atleast you guys are giving the kids the opportunity to make such beautiful memories AND to remember them. Guys THANK YOU for what you do for us by putting up these wonderful videos but aboce all THANK YOU for allowing us to share in your lives. Im really excited for next weeks episode. Love to your family from ours. Happy travels, stay safe whilst making your beautiful memories and keep on being the beautiful people that you all are. ❤
Hey guys, I love all your vids - thanks for sharing your lives with us. Our daughter turned 5 in the Gulf on our lap around Oz in 2010 - like you say, we remember the great times, even if they don't. We still go travelling with friends that we made on that trip and our daughter (now 19) has a longing for the road and country towns that is the legacy of that year and all the other touring trips.
I took my kids to Singapore, the UK, Canada and Disneyland when they were 6 and 7, do they remember a lot of it, no, do they remember some of it, yes, do I remember all of it, Hell Yes! Let people think what they want and give them a smile while internally telling them to mind their own business! I wish we had done what you are doing with our kids but hey, they did get to go on a world trip and I’ll never forget it. Thanks for sorting out my entries Kyla, Ally O 😊
Seriously guys! You are the best! Thank you for all the amazing effort you put into your videos, you truely make us feel like we are there with you! My partner goes for back surgery today which we are hoping it will get us on the road in the next year! That and maybe a little help with maybe winning a giveback mission or a lot of hard work for us for the next year! Thank you from my family to yours! -Liana Mayo
I really enjoyed this weeks ep. I wish we traveled when our kids were younger. Thank you for giving us amazing locations and letting us join your family adventures

Loving your videos. We are seeing all the wonderful places that we will not get to see as we started our travelling too late. My husband is 81 and I am 77 but we still hope to be able to see some more of our beautiful country. We live in NSW so unfortunately WA is out of the question for us now. We are very lucky that we visited there in 2018 and 2019 and got to go to Karagini and did the Fortesque walks which were amazing. Your children are living a life similar to ours when we were growing up. So much freedom and adventure. Safe travels and look forward to more adventures. 5.41pm Tuesday 12th November.
You guys are incredible! Changing peoples lives 👏 We have been working through all your videos as a family and your honestly your changing peoples lives just from the Tv 🙌
I really enjoy all your videos....and your statement in the 17th min resonated so much with me......such a beautiful family having such an amazing life. I hope to meet you one day but if not then at least emulate what you've done. Thankyou Cartwright fam
I love watching ya'll and your family as you live your lives on the road. It's an incredible journey! A journey I wish I could travel, myself. I spent my life moving from here to there in the southeastern U.S., like a modern day gypsy. It's been a full life, but I tell ya what; I would have MUCH rather spent it the way you are spending yours. If you were giving away a truck and camper in the USA, I would absolutely do my best to win it! :) And if I won? I'd spend the rest of my life traveling all over the US, going to the most remote, hard to reach places I could find. Ya'll are the best.
If the kids don't remember it now, they will when they have kids and do something similar. I have very little memories from my childhood but now having a son who's 10 today, bring so many back. 😊 Got him his first Mountain bike so we can go to tracks around hervey bay.
You know you're tuned into the Cartwrights when it opens with a being bogged scene. The payoff for being in some awesome locations every bloody day of your lives. Awesome and fantastic
Memories from when I lived and worked in the NW of WA, last time I saw Sandfire Roadhouse was Oct 1996 on my way to Broome from Pt Hedland, then back after my weeks off. I worked at Punmu Community around Well 31 and spent lots of time driving, Telfer, Marble Bar and Hedland.
The best way to bring up kids when j have my ivf baby this is what were doing - what a dream you live and j cant wait to do it tooo love how much your oldest must be learning on the road reall life skills well done legends
Don't believe your kids wont remember your travels . We took our 4 children almost around Aus for 12 months probably 20 year ago. Margaret kept up their schooling in travel breaks we as well put them in my old town school for a term that was a a good experience mostly. Education happened as we traveled. We had to stop still for a few days in one spot to give the kids a reset. It was a fantastic collection that we all remember. Good on you for sharing your experiences with us all i would love to go again but finances aren't up to it.
we enjoyed it again, even though we don't understand everything you guys talk so fast. but enjoy the whole vlog. what a life the kids have too. and they learn so much more.❤❤
Hi guys. Love your vids. Just watching your trip from Broom to Kalbarri, but couldn’t identify the spot you watched the sunset. Prior to going to 80 mile beach. White rocks and cliffs, swings etc. where was that? Thanks.
hey guys great vid as usual, Fyi for the non Aussies ;-) they be kangaroo tracks ( 23:32 ) when they walk not hopping, I have a few as pets so seen it plenty of times. Thanks Cartwrights for the great adventures. Ps Got me ticket for the truck 🙏
You guys set the bar very high on a great life with kids. I have a 14 yr old grandchild who has just tried to commit suicide. It would be such a better life for her than Stix and bricks. Keep up the fantastic work
I envy your kds...for the experiences you are giving them....but I cant because you cannot adopt me...I am 83 years old...A Canadian who loves your life experiences
Bidyadaga community. Is a must get permission. I worked there . coral reef . soft corals. Sea anemones. Go to the church there places. Back then two loader Tyers there to pull down the road. On chain. So everybody keeper the road to usable conditions. God bless your family. Mick. )
Just calling in from across the ditch. It's referencing today's, 2nd February upload. With the pump problem you have been having, Is there any way you can get away with a once a day pump up to a flexi header tank, and let it just gravity feed through the membranes for your requirements. In other words, pump once, a day. I can't help much from this side of the screen, so my question is, can that be done.? Is there any reason why that system I suggested, wouldn't work for you.? Thanks again Cartwrights, for the upload. Atb from across the ditch here in Nz. Take care.
Oh I wish I was eligible to win that taliban tan van. Would bring it back to Malaysia ( after taking some time to tour around Aus ). Then I will definitely take that and do my trip from Malaysia to South Africa.
