Very good job! I would absolutely LOVE to make one of these one day! Right now, I'm modeling a virtual version of this same clock on the computer - I don't have the tools or the wood to make the real thing. Very good job! Your craftsmanship is amazing!

Good afternoon Gergő Kovács, the pendulum is about 1 meter from the pivot to the center of the "pendulum bob" so the pendulum rod has about 10cm more than needed to be able to tune the clock, in my case is different because the adjuster nut is in the middle of the "pendulum bob".
In part # 6 has a 90° chamfer to hang the piece # 15 "pendulum pivot".
The "pallet" # 23 # 24 should be out about 8 or 9 mm in the "escapement".

Thank you "SarahtheFiddler1," this is my first clock.
I'm not a carpenter but I like to work with wood
All woods used are reclaimed from old drawers and windows of my house and some reused from building where I worked as an electrician (this is my profession).

Nice work. I made the same clock but I have 3d printed all gears and other parts. Only the frame is made of wood.

    :continuacion:
The difficulties in the operation of the clock are:
(If the gears are correct all measurements are correct)
    1 friction
    2nd friction
    3rd friction
I use a pencil graphite to lubricate the axle gears.
    Greetings Carlos Godinho

congratulations! Where did you fix the cord ends? One of them is around the drum, but the other extreme?

How long is the pendulum? And how you can make the pedulum pin top of the clock? I made all of the parts, all working but the pendulum and ticking is not working! Please help me. Thanks.

    Hi!
Thank you very much, and what is the pendulum rod material? metal or wood? I made metal and i know that is the problem. I cant buy wood rod because that wasn't 1-1.5 meters long, only 80 centimeters. Today i made new escapement, but i did not get ahead if you know what i mean. Thank you for your answer. You are a gentleman :D Sorry for my bad english :D

I forgot to ask how much weight are you going? How much the weight of the pendulum bob and the ends of the shafts handled as easily slide?Do you understand my question?

Fantastic !! I've looked at a lot of wooden clock stuff, and I have to say yours is up there with the very best. It looks like you took a lot of care with the build-up - did it take you a long time to make?

Love the clock! Would you have any finished clocks that could be made available to our museum for display, perhaps on a short-term loan basis? We specialise in mechanical, moving exhibits and one of your items would be a great fit for our museum. I would love to hear from you. Best wishes, Iain Simmons. The MAD Museum (UK).
