Viola Davis should have won that award but because the name Meryl was there the Oscar voters gave it to her. Viola Davis made you feel every emotion in that performance in The Help. She didn't loss to a tough competitor, she lost to THE name and other things..........Haven't been that many Best Actress in a Leading Role awarded to women of color in all the major awards shows. Just saying
kingbey fan nah it sounds like you're just upset that one of your favorite actresses didn't win. Meryl Streep has lost countless times so your logic is flawed. Also, by your logic, every time actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro, or Will Smth is nominated the Oscars might as well just hand them the award, right? You know since there names are so big and all... And I suspected you would bring race into this. If that's the case, explain how Octavia Spencer won that same exact year. The Oscars goes by the performance, not race, you keep telling yourself otherwise to make yourself feel better about her loss. She just won an Emmy and that itself is a major award show, she made history. What more do you want?
+Sven Winchester First off I said Best ACTRESS ( a female ) in a LEADING ROLE. Octavia Spencer was Best SUPPORTING Actress. The only black woman to win an Oscar for a LEADING role was Halle Berry. I didn't say anything about Best ACTOR ( a male ) so why bring up Leonardo, Robert or Will. I said women of color do not win many awards in the category of BEST ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE at the major award shows. Bringing up Viola win at the Emmy's in that category proves my point. Only one winner in 70 years of that award show is crazy. A lot of people didn't even know when Viola won that she was the first woman of color to win that award. People was shocked but not those who aren't blind. You don't think she should have won is your opinion but my opinion will not change or the result. She was robbed by the beloved grandmother of the Oscars and I am sure race did play a part in that. If you don't think so that is not my issue. My favorite actress shines with or without the awards she deserves. So what more do you want?

@@orlando1145 Because that's the "supposed" mistery of the sixth and last season of the show. So that wasn't a spoiler at all.
I got chills across my body when connor raised that gun, the music playing is crazy too.
this scene is the best in season 2, the start of season 2 wasn't great. but this episode carries it.
I love watching this scene over and over again
Its been one year that i couldnt replace this show.... Lots of love to all Htwagm cast from India especially Mrs.Viola Davis
The way Wes turned when annalise told him Rebecca is dead reminds me of a meme, why is that the first thing that came to my head, and why did i find it so funny (on second viewing the first viewing I found this incredibly intense)
Rebecca is Wes's trigger word
I cant even blame Wes for shooting her. Woman is so damn convincing
And the funny/shocking thing about that is Annalise told the truth about Rebecca
Took a while for me to separate Annalise from Viola. The woman is a damn good actress. I really really like her.
This show is something else.
Was* :(
One of the most powerful scenes in the whole show.
This scene still gives me goosebumps 😩😩😩
Watching this now knowing that Annalise truly loved him unconditionally to the point of wanting to adopt him hurts me so much to see him shoot her like that
Annalize lied to him and she also used it to play with him. When you found out that your girlfriend is dead and that one of the people you trust the most has hidden it from you when she knows very well that it hurts you, you can react very badly. She deserved it
That christoff name drop saved her life.
😂
This is the best scene of the 5 seasons of htgawm i think. I was so nervous when i saw this scene
They all should have won an award for this epic scene!!!😍😍
Loved this series!!
Michaela stepping in front of Connor!! I love their friendship so much just for her to betray him in the end
What a powerful scene...
I understand all characters in fact
For me, the best and still most shocking winter finale for this show.
Conner: I hate you so much😡
Fast forward to Annalise Dancing at his wedding 😂😂😂
This scene deserved a huge praise. 🙏🙏
Who would dislike Such art ?!
