I was there too in 1975, with my parents. We touched the Concorde, not knowing that we were able to fly on it in 1987... Both my parents are gone but this memory will always be precious to me. Beautiful film!
Many thx! Crazy how many jet aircrafts (most of them supersonic) there was at display in the past. Today, there are at most 3 or 4 supersonic aircrafts (e.g.: 2023 bourget: F16, Rafale, Eurofighter, F35, that's all).
The successful correction demo flight from the soviets by the Tu-144S aircraft, after the tragic 1973 Le Bourget. By the way, another unique and very promising aircraft from this footage is the Mirage F1E, with the more powerful Snecma M53 from the Mirage 2000 (and 4000 as well). Unfortunatelly, it was not able to get any attention from the NATO and the F-16A beat it as to be the "standard" fighter.
Kudos to the person who captured this gem on film! Thanks for sharing!
