Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm originally from Long Island, NY, whch is about 40 minutes from NYC. In 2017, I moved to Ohio to become a TV news reporter, but after waking up at 2 a.m. for 5 years, I decided to leave that job and pursue UA-cam full-time.
I recently bought a house in Cincinnati and love making all kinds of videos, focusing on everything from money and finances (saving, budgeting, and being financally independent in your 20's) to health, fitness, and nutrition, to beauty and fashion. I'm getting married next summer so I also love providing wedding updates and showing you exactly how I'm planning my own wedding.
I LOVE making "what I spend in a week" videos in the cities I travel to and love week in my life-style videos the most! Let me know if there's anything specifically you want to see!

Would love a wedding video breaking down your expenses/budget. I think it would be really helpful for future brides, which is a big chunk of your viewers I'm sure. Transparency with costs are what our generation is looking for - of course within reason of what you are comfortable sharing!

@@stefanietaylor5402 I definitely had my wedding in an expensive area but that’s where I grew up and our venue was incredible. Luckily my parents, maternal grandparents, and I went thirds on the venue. My in laws paid for transportation. So we had to pay for the rest but had a two year engagement to save money.

RE Asparagus: It actually doesn't matter how much water you drink, or how much you eat...you could literally eat 2 pieces and urine still smells. It's a genetic trait. Technically everyone's urine smells from eating asparagus, but it's the ability to smell the change in the urine smell that is the genetic trait, not the changing of the smell of one's urine.
Correct. Everyone’s pee smells from it, it’s just whether or not you can smell it that may be different.

Clancy I feel like you are such a good role model for your generation. You are responsible, caring, frugal, industrious and completely honest. If you are considered an “influencer” then you are the right kind of influencer. P.S. for someone like yourself who goes down the road of life at 150 mph slowing down for a brief period to 20 mph is going to feel weird and out of the usual but sounds like you needed that slowdown and I am glad you allowed yourself that respite. We all look forward to your lives post marriage. It can only go uphill from here. ❤️❤️❤️

Clancy, PLEASE go see an Orthopedic Doctor for that shoulder. If it hasn't gotten better after all this time it could be something serious like a rotator cuff tear which sometimes requires surgery to fix and get better. Don't let it go any longer. And I know you don't plan kids anytime soon but if you can't lift a small weight it could affect you picking up and holding your baby on that side someday. Please take care of yourself and get it looked at soon. Good Luck! Hope you feel better soon.
I’ve been to a few orthopedists and they haven’t found anything significant wrong with it unfortunately 😞
I know you said you don’t like massages but I think getting one for your shoulder might be the answer. I recently strained my shoulder in a car accident about a month ago and I went for a massage a few weeks ago t to see if it would help. It so helped me alot with my pain. Have the doctors ever metnioned PT? Hope you shoulder feels better Clancy!!!!
We add something to my stack every 5 years! It's become a fun tradition as we just hit 10 years this summer. So you could go that route! Your band is gorgeous and I also love the sparkle.

I struggled a lot post wedding. It was like SO much life build up/anticipation. Then when it was it over, I was like “now what?!”

Everyone's pee smells when they eat asparagus. Some people just can't smell it. it's something about lacking the enzyme or receptors to be able to smell it.

I used to insist that asparagus didn't make my pee smell... but it actually does it to everyone! There is some genetic factor that determines whether you smell it or not. So weird. Anyway, welcome back! Very happy for you and Zac :)

I love asparagus too. We ate so much broccoli, corn, peas, and cauliflower growing up, that I feel burnt out on those. I tend towards asparagus or Brussel sprouts now. My pee smells different when I eat asparagus. It’s not necessarily a “bad” smell. It’s just distinctly different. My dog loves asparagus too. I save her the ends I snap off from mine to add to her kibble.

Anyone else learn designer brands from The Clique books 😂😂 because that was me! I started reading them in like fifth grade and was obsessed. And that’s how I learned designer brands. Asparagus pee is very real 😂 If my husband or I eat asparagus even ONE time, our pee smells so much like it for a day!

Love asparagus, but I could have one bite and my pee smells weird - not bad, just asparagus pee :D and I am the water champ in this household. I probably drink just under a gallon per day.
You said you went to the gym after 3 weeks. They were lifting 30# and you were lifting 15# . I can relate.
When you mentioned you thought the rest would help your shoulder I think you forget thats the same arm you hold the camera. Please consoder switching arms. Also consider getting it looked at by a specialist.
