The answer is maybe.
The reality of it is, is that that’s a serious decision that you really need to consider. But at the same time, it is a possibility.
If there was an adoptive parent, the court will make you pay child support even if you don’t have rights to that child, until there is an adoptive parent who takes on that responsibility.
A guardianship will not viscerate your requirement to pay child support. Only an adoption will, which terminates your rights and provides that somebody else is going to do it.

False, if they put it up for adoption, without fathers consent, then father proves paternity and takes the child it doesn’t release the mother from her obligations. Roles are reversed
What if the parental rights were terminated due to involuntary termination. Would the child support end in that case.

That's an idiotic statement. Father should have just as much right for their child as the mother. If a woman decides she wants to keep the child fine. The fathers should have the right to force an abortion. Women take father's rights to his child every day. IT'S CALLED ABORTION!!

Well I guess my life is completely ruined! I am losing my wife of 20 years because of her narcissistic airhead sister getting into her head with her weirdo Austin friends. Of course they want her single she’s hot and persuadable by anything new like the next bright and shiny object dangled in front of her. She knew from the day we first met that I didn’t want children and I made sure she knew very well that I would never change my mind. Since I was a pre teen I couldn’t stand the younger kids in school and as an adult I couldn’t stand and didn’t want to be around children. I have very bad depression, anxiety, and overall hatred of life, and felt like my gene pool should not be passed along. My wife was the first and only thing that had ever made me happy except she refused to accept my choice and married me knowing that I didn’t want children and I thought she understood that or she wouldn’t have married me. Her and her family pushed and pushed me to have kids and I managed to hold out for 5 years when she decided to quit her birth control on her own and we ended up with two kids. I am not a monster I do love my kids but I still feel like my way would have been better and happier, I knew it would hurt our marriage and it turns out I was right. Now we are in our 20th year with two teenage daughters and she has decided to blow up our family over something stupid and for some stupid reason I am expected to pay her to ruin my life! This is just fucked up on a level that makes no sense! She wanted kids and now she wants to end it while I was/am 100% opposed to it. I shouldn’t have to fund the destruction of my life it’s insult to an already devastating injury.

One thing the momma or the courts CANT DO.., is ever change is the fact that the child has a father …and YES.., I would use every possible LEGAL avenue to balance the playing field!!! AND… I would still seek ways to be in MY CHILDS life through other means.. relatives, social media, you name it .., I would play dirty LEGALLY… and STILL be in my child’s life … two can play at that game.., bring it on!!! …
It should be if she chose to leave the situation, she should be independently accountable. It is her choice to leave the man for sure. That doesn't mean tax him for all of said moms choice. There should be evidence like marriage that shows each party point of view. Don't just leave as a mother and say pay aswell. Simple

N, some states like Texas makes it that if your rights were terminated so does all obligations which includes child support. Thing is, you can't terminate your rights only because you want to stop paying or because the mother is giving you a hard time. It comes down to your relationship with the child and so on. You'd have to look at your state laws and regulations pertaining to such. Some also go by county.
