I actually think captain marvel is underrated. The villain sucks but I think captain marvel is the most likeable in her own movie. The 1st and 2nd act are very nicely paced, the 3rd act doesn't worl that well but overall I think it's a decent movie

I just watched Shang Chi for the first time and don’t understand the praise at all. I am genuinely curious as to what I am missing about the movie. I’m not kidding when i believe it to be the worst movie in the entire MCU. What is one personality trait of Shang Chi. It felt like things just seemed to happen around him and he just kinda goes with it until all of sudden he is extremely powerful. The best part of the movie was Trevor Slattery and the bus fight scene was pretty good.

Would take some time to really rank them all but Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 broke my personal scale… 42 out of 10.
It’s managed to reach to top of all movies not just the MCU…
Rocket Raccoon was a favorite character along side iron man but the MCU depiction of Rocket Puts him at the top of all characters period. The team behind bringing Rocket to life on screen did an amazing job. Actors directors animators, etc.
Seen the movie 9 times so far.
Everyone really needs to see it.

10: Captain America: The First Avenger
This was, in my opinion, the perfect way to introduce a character such as Steve Rogers. This was just a phenomenal way to make him go from zero to hero.
9: Iron Man
Another great origin story that, I feel, makes better use of Tony than First Avenger made of Steve. The first MCU movie is still one of the best.
8: Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania
While I do feel like Kang should have been saved for a bigger movie, I was one of the very few people that actually really liked this movie. I loved the action, the humor, and MOD…ok maybe MODOK was a little bit stupid but I still loved the movie.
7: Thor: Ragnarok
I feel like this movie gets better every time I watch it. It’s funny, action-packed, and Hela was just as menacing as Loki. I loved it. Awesome.
6: Guardians Of The Galaxy
At first, I thought this movie was just mediocre but, after rewatching it, I absolutely loved it! This was a great way to make weird misfit characters such as the Guardians go from zeroes to heroes just like Rogers in First Avenger. I was laughing, crying, and I thought this movie was phenomenal.
5: Captain America: Civil War
As a true Spider-Man fan, I was so hyped after finding out he was in this movie. So much action, so many laughs, and just an incredible movie by itself. The airport scene will go down as one of the best fight scenes you’ll ever see.
4: Avengers: Endgame
While I wasn’t a fan of the time travel story, I still thought this movie was epic, sad, funny, and a satisfying conclusion to the Infinity Saga. With two beloved characters sacrificing themselves and one of the best third acts of any movie of all time, you can bet I loved it!
3: The Avengers
I was anticipating this movie ever since Iron Man and it EXCEEDED my expectations! I loved how they all group together and pretty much hate each other until the final battle when they really become a team. That spinning shot in the final battle and just the action by itself! A demonic and evil villain such as Loki! Phenomenal!
2: Avengers: Infinity War
I love this movie! I was so hyped! I was so excited! Every single MCU character in one film! In fact, I loved this movie so much that I was thinking about giving it first place but it still got beat by this next film.

Omg! This film is literally cinema! I was laughing, I was crying, I was on the edge of my seat, and I was literally on the verge of passing out. Like I said earlier, I am a big Spider-Man fan so my heart was racing during this film. I saw this film with my friends and we were just screaming! The crowd was going nuts in the theater! We were clapping! We were yelling! I will never forget seeing this film on opening night! One of the best experiences of my life! With returning characters and unlimited fan service, this movie is the best movie ever made!

I don’t agree with 40% of your list. There is no way Ant Man 3 is anywhere near the top and the jokes fell so flat just like other MCU movies around that time except for Guardians 3 and Spider-Man No Way Home. Also, I think The First Avenger is the weakest in the trilogy and the other two films are just far better and took the character in interesting new directions.

Am I the only person who actually likes Love and Thunder and Quantumania? Yes, I can understand some of the criticisms lobbied at them, but some people act like they’re the worst movies ever made when, IMO, there have been FAR worse.
Two movies I can name off the top of my head that I feel are far worse are Revenge of the Fallen and The Last Knight.

@@TF2Fan101 I originally had Love and Thunder a lot higher on the list, but after watching every MCU movie all together, it fell off for me. I still really enjoy most of the movie, but I feel like the film had potential it just didn’t live up to. As for Quantumania, I enjoyed it a lot in the theater, but I thought it was nowhere near as good on a rewatch. The VFX are ugly, the story is a mess, and MODOK was poorly executed. Johnathan Majors as Kang saves the movie from being bad (and I desperately hope he stays as Kang). So I agree with your comment even if I’m not as high on these movies as I once was!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 grew on me over time and I have come to love it. It still has flaws, more so than the first movie, but the emotional punches, especially with Yondu and the comedy are done super well. The one issues I have with the movie are the Soverign, Drax not fighting much and maybe the darkness going a bit too far. I found the dark aspects of the movie more offputting than the comedy stuff in the movie.

@@arinhossain2100 depend on one own taste, I would rewatch Homecoming more than Wakanda Forever. The runtime of Wakanda Forever is way too long with many scenes could have been cut out and the whole atmosphere of it just put you in this sad, somber mood because of the tragedy behind the film, that makes me hesitant to rewatch it.

This doesn’t give me hope for the movies I’m watching next lol. I haven’t watched anything since far from home and just recently started watching again. I watched some of the Disney plus shows(WandaVision Loki and Falcon and Winter Soldier)and they were pretty good. I watched Shang Chi today and thought it was the worst MCU movie I’ve ever watched and don’t understand the praise it gets. It might be the only MCU movie I’ve ever actually disliked and wouldn’t rewatch and you’re telling me there are worse movies ahead😂.

Favorite will always be the first Iron man. Such a classic film that now more then ever looking back on it is COMPLETELY untouched by a larger agenda of propelling a series and a universe, I think this is the only genuine film in the entire MCU that’s an old school character driven agenda of just being good movie. And that’s why it’s my favorite. With my least favorite being all of phase 4 but if I had to pick one it would be Thor love and thunder. It didn’t feel like a movie even, and is a true prime example of what’s become of “film” in the modern movie landscape. Despite my HATERED for what the MCU has become I think it stuck the landing completely until phase 4 began. Before then things were still good, getting alittle bulky but still held by great character work and development

My ranking from Worst to Best:
32. Thor: The Dark World (The most dull these movies have gotten for me)
31. The Incredible Hulk (Generic, boring, the CGI has aged terribly, and most of the acting is pretty weak)
30. Captain Marvel (Not as bad as the one side of Internet said and there's a good movie in here, but it's very bland and uninspired. Hopefully The Marvels can improve on the character cause I don't think its Brie Larson's fault, just weak material and poor direction.)
29. Love and Thunder (This movie gets worse the more you think about it, and while it has some fun moments, this is now the peak when it came to the overuse of MCU humor in a bad way undercutting the emotional beat of the story.)
28. Ant Man and the Wasp (Not much to say except bland and forgettable)
27. Quantumania (Majors is great as Kang, despite his personal shit right now, but probably not the best movie to introduce this character. Plus none of the characters really have an arc as it was either rushed or underwritten and the tones clashes HARD.)
26. Iron Man 2 (It's messy, felt more like an Avengers set up movie than a proper sequel to Iron Man, but it has its fun moments)
25. Black Widow (Came out 5 years too late, they did Taskmaster dirty, but Florence Pugh is amazing as Yelena and there's enjoyment to come out of it, but for a swan song for Scarlett Johansson and it was just okay, that's disappointing.)
24. Age of Ultron (There's great character moments and some fun action, namely the Hulk Buster sequence, but as a whole definitely the weakest Avengers movie, messy, and Ultron was underwhelming.)
23. Eternals (Overhated for sure, but I'm more mixed on it now than when I saw it in theaters. I respect the ambition and it's visually stunning but it had too many characters and too much lore to cover for 2 and a half hours. Should've been a Disney+ series.)
22. Thor (Put it simple: The stuff on Asgard and the story between Thor, Loki, and Odin: Fantastic. The stuff on Earth with the humans: Brings the movie completely down. Also hated the dutch angles.)
21. Multiverse of Madness (Falls short in terms of its title and the story is a bit spotty, but as a Sam Raimi Doctor Strange movie, it's a total blast.)
20. Ant Man (It's mid tier MCU, but still a solid origin story and a fun heist movie. Paul Rudd, as always, is lovable and so charming as Scott, if only it's sequels were just as entertaining.)
19. Iron Man 3 (Some missed opportunities, but a great Tony Stark movie and one of the few MCU films where you can feel the director's fingerprints on it.)
18. Far from Home (The weakest of the Holland Spidey trilogy, but still a solid and fun sequel. The Mysterio Illusion sequence is a Top 10 MCU moment for me.)
17. Ragnarok (Though the best Thor movie and one of the funniest MCU movies, it is IMO the most overrated MCU movie. For as entertaining as it is, in terms for that story, the humor served as both the movie's biggest strength and weakness as I found it emotionally hollow. Still a good time though.)
16. Doctor Strange (Weak villain and some misplaced Marvel humor aside, I think it's one of the more underrated entries. It's a really good origin story, Benedict Cumberbatch is honestly perfect casting for Strange (Even if it did took time to get used to the American accent.), and the visuals are incredible.)
15. Black Panther (Also a little overrated with the 3rd act falling short thanks to PS2 level CGI, but the stuff that works are SO GOOD that it elevates the movie. RIP Chadwick.)
14. The First Avenger (Going back to underrated MCU films, what a great introduction for Steve Rogers as a character and some amazing production design and VFX. 2nd half may not be as strong as the first, but what a solid origin story with one of the best endings in the MCU.)
13. Shang Chi (One of the better Phase 4 entries and a kick ass action movie. Did wish the 3rd act didn't go full CGI and still kept it personal, but what a great introduction for this character and Simu Liu is awesome as well as Tony Leung as Wenwu. Also feels more self contained for the most part, which adds to it. Can't wait to see more of this character.)
12. Homecoming (Such a funny and charming high school film mixed with being a solid Spider Man movie with a great villain with Michael Keaton's Vulture and of course Tom Holland is amazing.)
11. Wakanda Forever (Hot take: I like it more than the first. Has a bit of bloat, but it's not only serves as a great sequel to the first with Shuri taking up the mantle and Namor is a fantastic antagonist, but a great tribute to Chadwick Boseman with some powerful emotional moments. Also felt Ryan Coogler's direction stood out more here and felt more stylized and personal.)
10. Civil War (Might not have that much stakes on rewatch, but a great movie that has the right balance being sort of an Avengers movie, but also not forgetting to be a Captain America movie. Also the final battle between Cap, Bucky and Tony is incredible and impactful.)
9. The Avengers (Looks like a TV show and fuck Joss Whedon, but the first Avengers still kicks ass. The New York battle is still iconic.)
8. Iron Man (The OG! One of the best superhero origin story, the VFX still looks amazing and RDJ is Iron Man.)
7. No Way Home (May not have the rewatch factor and the multiverse aspect can be flimsy at best, but it serves as an amazing story for Tom Holland's Spider Man while also serving as both a great resolution for Tobey and Andrew, but a great celebration for Spider Man as a character. People can say it's overrated or it relies too much nostalgia all they want, but it uses its nostalgia/fan service just right to where it actually serve a purpose in the story rather than be a distraction.)
6. Winter Soldier (The best Captain America movie and a great balance of having that grounded and serious tone in the style of like Jason Bourne, but also having some levity pour in there.)
5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 (My least favorite of the Guardians films, but still fantastic. Hilarious, thrilling, and an amazing soundtrack, it's a wonderful introduction to my favorite side of the MCU.)
4. Guardians Vol 2 (Yeah I'm in the camp who prefers Vol 2 over Vol 1. Continues on what made 1 so good, but also serving as a great character study about them dealing with their own personal egos. But also improves on the villain, visuals and even soundtrack for me. Plus the ending still gets me too Austin. “He may have been your father boy, but he wasn't your daddy.“ 😭 )
3. Infinity War (Amazing crossover, Thanos is incredible, the ending still gets me.)
2. Guardians Vol 3 (Damn right it's that high! I just adore this movie, I'm still thinking about it. An amazing conclusion to the best MCU trilogy IMO)
1. Endgame (It may not be entirely flawless, but as a conclusion to the Infinity Saga, it's about as perfect as you can get. The Portal sequence is one of the most triumphant scenes in movie history, especially with Silvestri's score. I love you 3000.)

While I didn’t get my wisdom teeth removed around the time of Iron Man I will say that it was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. 5 year old me fell asleep during the 2nd act but I did see it

While I haven't seen the last 7 MCU films I have 1. Avengers: Infinity War, 2. Guardians of the Galaxy and 3. Avengers as my top 3. Black Widow is the only film so far that I consider to be a bad film.
