I deactivated my account on 23 june 01:02 AM and it's been two days, now when I try to reactivate my account it keeps showing me this error message. It boils my blood whenever I see this message. I have deactivated my account many times before that but got no issues and now it shows this error. I've tried everything to fix this but failed miserably. I just hope it's a glitch because many people are facing the exact same issue. This error keeps showing up since 25 june morning and still here. I have interected with some people with the exact same issue and they said to just wait (they got their accounts back 2-3 days ago), it will automatically get fixed after 24 or 48 hours, ain't no need to do anything. Let's hope we get back our accounts back asap.

I had deactivated my account nearly 10 days ago, but yesterday when i was trying to login, it showed me an error message.
So I changed the password, but was still unable to login.
Since then, i have tried a number of methods, resetting my password several times, USING browser to login, using clone app, resetting the app, uninstalling and installing the app again and again several times, but still my account is not logging in.
Every time i tried to login it showed me a message, "there was a problem with your request"
Now I don't know, what to do, because there's no way left that I can try
I have also waited for a 24 hrs time gap but still the same error.
I don't know what will happen now?

I deactivated my account 10 days ago and when i tried to reactivate it today I was shown error, I tried rest password, different devices to login, change of network from wifi to mobile data, and other ways too but still I wasn’t able to login, also my account is not linked to Facebook so can’t use Facebook to login instagram.I tried to contact instagram but there is no way to ask for help really disappointing for not having any customer support platform.But as i see here in comments that i am not alone facing this problem so it might be a technical glitch from instagram. please inform here in comments those who manage to login.

This is an Instagram problem. I also deactivated my account and tried several times to login again but there is a problem. I contacted some people and they told me that I should wait a day or two for activation again

NOTE : I deactivated my account 2 weeks ago and then reactivated 4 days later and it was perfectly fine. but from past 38 hours (25 June 9:30am Indian Time) this error occurs while trying to log in. I was one of the few people who first noticed the issue and immediately went to twitter to see if i'm the only one having this issue and there was literally 2-3 people complaining about the issue then after some hours thousands of people tweeted about the issue. so most probably this issue is here for past 38 hours. and i even saw one of my friend reactivated on 24 june finely. this definitely is a glitch happening from 25 june. i hope we get our accounts back asap!

What I did
Login on the desktop site not the app ...it had to be the website .
Once I got access on desktop..I logged in on the app and it worked!

i have so many instagramm accounts and i recently 4 days ago i usually logged into those accounts and as usual logged out next day bc i don’t like having all the accounts on my phone but i runed into this problem that it says error there is a problem with ur request i think i found a solution but it’s the most annoying and frustrating thing to do it’s by putting u forgot ur password and putting ur phone number or email to reset password and log in that’s the only way i’ve figured out that u cab log in i hope it’s a instagram thing because i’m not gonna be doing that all the time

I deactivated my account for a month then loged in but i had to deactivate it again and it doesn’t let you deactivate twice a week so i deleted my account which gives you 30 days to change your mind and now this issue came omg this is so stressful i want my account back, and yes I tried this trick before so many times, that you delete your account for a temporary time until you can deactivate it again and it works but wth is this now if this problem doesn’t solve until 21 july then my account will be deleted forever
