Hello brother your videos are very nice. Since, I have bit of networking knowledge I would like to clarify something here about Static NAT and Dynamic NAT. Basically one to one (static nat) and Many to Many (Dynamic NAT) first come first serve basic pool will be used. This is clear. But when you are configuring NAT. you should not use any protocol or static route right? because once you are translated to Public IP you will be globally exposed and you will be reachable; That is the job of ISP isn't it? but I am not getting why are you using static or dynamic route here? In static NAT video it doesn't show the translation data.. may be because of manual route.. please check..
Hi, mostly we do nating on egress router or in the device which is gateway of your LAN network. We do nating there and after that you convert into public IP. And expose to internet, then its depends on ur ISP which routing protocol they are using your traffic will forward according to that.. Your concepts are also right. You are talking true. But in this example I had done Nating on middle router that's why I use static routing, if you don't want to use middle router. Just use first router R1 for nating.

But when I tried default route pointing vice versa egress to isp router, I got all PC reachable.. but I supposed to reach only what I mentioned in the nat static command right? If I mentioned two inside IP only that two IP should be able to ping not other PC from LAN right?
@@VijayaBaskarvvk the 2 PCs that you mentioned in one to one NATing will be reachable with Nat translation into public ip. But other PC will reachable via using local IP. LaN IP...... It is because it an simulation scenario ur local IP will be reachable on all network... But in real network gateway allow on those 2 Nat PCs to go on internet and will stop the other which are reaching using local IP... Hope u got the point.

I use static routing here because I use middle router for nating. That's why for reachability on middle router I use static routing
