Hello sister. I hope you find this comment encouraging. Many people with OCD and even people who don't have what are called intrusive thoughts. These thoughts are contrary to your values and disturbing. What you described sounded a lot like an intrusive thought. If you want to learn more I recommend researching the term scrupulosity. Don’t worry, those thoughts are not your thoughts. It is not an issue. You are not responsible for them, I promise you. You are not strange. Just allow them to be there and don’t take responsibility for them. It is not a big deal and it won’t be if you don’t make it a big deal, I promise you.
You'll probably be surprised how many people this happens to. I've had a very extreme case of this myself, and it caused an unbelievable amount of pain for myself and some close loved ones. I say to you, do not be deceived. The nature of God is such that he couldn't just "forget" he is God, and he wouldn't hide knowledge of himself from himself. He knows everything there is to know about everything, at all times. I believe these thoughts that try to convince any person that they are God are directly from the enemy and ought to be discarded. Pray over these thoughts.

He wants you to have peace and joy with Him. He will never leave you. He offers you life and life more abundantly. He wants to give you eternity in Heaven with Him.
