Great work on the whites, Leon. That amount would have crushed my mojo into dust. Love the officers, but the mounted colonel steals the show followed by the chevalier. Nice detailing on the saddle blanket. Looking forward to seeing the Jagers and Curiassiers.

Funny that. I think I seen one of your videos before Christmas doing Austrians with yellow facings and of course fancied doing them myself for myself. Since covid I have had a lot of painting time and with all the videos on UA-cam yours included I am really enthused unlike I have been for absolute years. Im on my sixth regiment of 24 figures and I bought a box of they heavy cavalry as well. Im getting good results undercoating grey, painting the white cloth in Taimya desert yellow putting a wash on that with agrex earth shade and highlighting with off white and then brilliant white. In fact I have been painting hundreds of ACW for a friend in Germany (which most worryingly 220 of them might be lost in the post at the moment - so its sweating time) that it is a pleasure to do whites after all the blues and greys. These look great by the way. Keep it up.

I have boxes and boxes of them to do 😂 In true Wargaming fashion I ended up buying more Austrians just to finish the ones I already had. And now I’ve filled a cart at Perry’s with even more as I realised I needed (wanted) a brigade of Hungarians. So ending up with more than double the amount I started with 🤦♂️🤣
Hi Terry. Thanks mate. They can be a bit daunting at first. All that white but I think once they’re all finished they should look really striking on the field of battle.
Nice. Been thinking of doing some Nassau myself. I’ll get back to the 18mm sometime next year I think. Had these Austrians for a while now and decided this year to get them all finished
Thanks mate. I’ve tried in the past to paint them with the stripes but I couldn’t get them to look good enough. I think there are decals somewhere out there but they looked to fiddly. So I’m taking the easy option and just painting them white and hope nobody notices lol
