- In this Plein air adventure Artist Freeman White Travels to Mahia Peninsula in northern Hawke's Bay on the east coast of the north island of New Zealand.
He paints 5 Plein air paintings over a Two night stay and is joined on day one by artist William Wood.
Included are many scenic shots ,Time-lapse of each painting and Freeman's description of his process and experiences on site .
Although not a full tutorial there are some great tips for plein air painting techniques strait from the artist as he paints .
Freeman paints a crashing wave en plein air he battles high winds and even completes a 45min painting .
The artist shares his passion for painting on location .
This is a must see video for any plein air painter and is sure to inspire you to want to paint in this way if you do not already.
