I was there with my daughter's Firecrackers team. This was an EPIC game. The use of "heavyweight fight" clearly describes this game. A real back and forth in the extra innings. I stood up in the middle of the 8th inning to stretch and was amazed at the number of people around me, but then I remembered that this game went almost 1.5 hours long and the UCLA fans were waiting to get to their seats. Truly EPIC!!!
I agree. Tons of pressure I’m sure she’s feeling. Watch out for Jennings, Hansen, and Johns along with Lynn’s and Lou. They can hit the long ball up and down the lineup- no weak spots.
@@usveteran9893 if i was patty i would drop her to number 4 in the line up. I think it would force more pitchers to pitch or possibly walk in a run if bases or loaded
Best team won.....they play again OU would win easier............probably as good as Tennessee can play/OU seemed a little off expecting an easy game I guess/Good for OU to have games like this as well as Tennessee............also no way 16 Teams better than Tennessee
I am disappointed in these announcers, first Miss. Ball's game the previous day was amazing, second all and I mean all these young are very skilled, thirdly they are all human and make mistakes, and that is why they are so great to watch. They never stop trying to do their best and at times the impossible. That is why Beth and the other X women ball player are so much better at commentating. Atta girls all. And thanks for the best sporting events to watch. I watch Miss Chamberlin play and bat, fantastic.
Oklahoma pitcher number 98... Quite a few illegal pitches... Back foot not staying planted followed by dragging... Thrilling game non the less. Great fight on both sides ladies!!!
She was call on that a lot in the game against UCLA a couple of weeks earlier at the Mark Campbell Invitational. She clearly wasn't called on it in high school so the bad habit is catching up with her. She is only a freshman so this will be worked on as she develops during her time at OU.
Um...all the pitchers drag their foot...they HAVE to, ot's a rule. I f that back foot comed off the mound during the pitch delivery it's ruled an illegal pitch. That is called "crow hopping" Perfectly legal in professional softball. Kelly Barnhill (Florida Gators) Crow hopped A LOT. Her pitching was phenomenal though
9:58 could very well be a compliment but this often a microagression when it comes to how “well” we speak as African Americans. I would hope that one speaks their first language well.
You have two Gold Medalists among them and a very experienced commentator. I'd take these extremely intelligent and experienced former players ANYDAY over anyone else. If you sre irritated there is a way to MUTE THE SOUND!
