I don't think children owe their parents. For example: I have a 7 year old, he doesn't owe me anything because he didn't ask to be in this world. It's my job as a parent, a good parent to care for my child. Now if we're talking about the extra things that parents didn't have to give their children then yes, they owe their parents. My mom use to always say, all I have to do is raise you right, put food on the table, and clothes on your back lol. But she always went all out for me.
To get someone's name ask their name, then when they tell you their first name they'll be hurt then you say no your last name and they won't feel as bad plus you get their full name!
