    Thanks for this vid. Very in-lighting. I mostly photograph wildlife, this traching flies in the face of conventional wildlife photo teaching, at least wha I have been told. Generally speaking ETTR, Expose To The Right, as far right as possible while not blowing out the highlights, is still preached as THE WAY. Supossidly to reduce higher iso noise.
    I breaking in a new Canon R6ii thet we just purchased for our church. Getting to know it on some Hibiscus flowers and Hummingbirds. I have been noticing, just today, that with this camera keeping the histogram mostly centered has been producing richer immages. You just explained why.
    Thanks very much.

    Another Great Video. I have figured out that you post every Wednesday afternoon my time (USA East Coast), so I'm ready and waiting for it now, but there are still a few of your videos that I haven't seen yet. I'm trying my best to see them all, though. Many times I try to duplicate the technique, but sometimes with a similar but not exact subject. The results and the learning experience are the important parts anyway. I've been learning lighting for about 65 years, but never learned it as well as I am learning it from you. Thank you.

    Carrying a behemoth of a camera around on a warm sunny day would makes a tripod prerequisite!

      The camera I used is not that much heavier than my previous camera, which was a Canon. I suppose you just get used to the weight of the camera. Thanks for watching.

    Very nice with the Musou black fabric. Just for comparison, what would the image quality be if you use a flash. I cannot afford the fabric, but have two small flash guns (100 joule) with high speed sync option in the camera.

    • @CameraClubLive
      @CameraClubLive  17 днів тому

      Yes, you could use flash, but you would also need to carefully flag of the background.

    Thank you for the excellent material! Could you let me know if there is something similar in green for chroma key? A material that doesn’t wrinkle much and doesn’t have a lot of glare?

    • @CameraClubLive
      @CameraClubLive  17 днів тому

      There are lots of options for green fabric, wrinkles and creases shouldn’t matter if itis lit correctly. thanks for watching.
