@@shittinthegrass You just don't get as much exp and money, and they changed how i wish to see the ghost works, it doesnt spawn in front of you anymore, it spawns at its actual location, so you have to find the ghost room first. You can still do this just takes longer

Ya if you just started this stuff likely goes way over your head but just shows how much there is in the game! Just worry about finding the ghost room first and then gathering evidence then surviving hunts and the rest will come with time!

After the update now, go on camp woodwind with custom modifiers up to ×12.97, a lighter, 2-4 incense, go in camp woodwind and watch how the ghost hunts as there will be no evidence. Some of the more prominent features will show through during the hunt, watch carefully and listen, loop the ghost around the picnic tables or campfire, use the sage when the ghost gets to close to stay alive. Make your guess and go home. Should only take you about 2 minutes, and it'll help you better understand how ghost hunt.

⁠I agree. Camp woodwind farming is effective, but it’s so boring. Something like this is actually pretty fun looking, but normally I’ll run like a 9.75x zero evidence on tangle and try to do perfect investigations, sure it may take me a few minutes but there’s a higher likelihood of a correct guess, which is already a little over 2k alone, including bone, pics, and ghost photo while looping, and cursed object photo and so on. Because what’s the point of leveling up all that stuff if you’re never gonna do runs that make them useful.
I learned after reaching 100+ that leveling up so quick like that, I barely even got to have fun with all the tier 3 evidence items and what not. The other investigations took longer and didn’t pay out as much, so it was like why even level up to begin with? Grinding is cool but makes the game so boring and a chore to play to be completely honest. At least for me anyway

Not sure that you can figure out having a lot of money this way since activating monkey paw hugely decreases the amount of money won, plus it still takes A LOT of time per hunt to try figuring out the ghost or making the set up, and also pills and everything else costs a bit of money, so I'm really doubting about this method

I've been abusing this for a month just for level badges accent, it's really fun unless you got deo, it's hard to run from deo with this difficulty

Deos got me killed like twice early on, that's why now I just immediately run to the locker and listen, smudge and then loop around chapel twice and that has worked for me, the darkness makes it super tough though

i use a custom setting which gives me almost 13x for looping the ghost and correctly guessing it through one hunt

I run something similar with a 12x multiplier

The best way to farm exp is with a 5x multiplier. What you should NOT do is guess. Sunny Meadows has a perfect looping spot on the womens side hall.

12x multiplier, 1 hunt and leave is going to be quicker but if you are going for complete accuracy ya a lower setting you are consistent with is good

I'm not the biggest fan of that method, but you can farm pretty fast that way! I prefer the 1 hunt method on Tanglewood myself, I seem to be more consistent with it.

@@wolfaxcilco If you enjoy your runs I would stick with those. Mine is a little bit harder as I have no grace period hunts and no sprint and no flashlights to increase the multiplier

No flashlight starts to be annoying.
The no sprint is annoying, no sprint and 50% is just time stealing 😭
Which is why getting the Gold Apcolypse was a pain and boring tbh
