Where in the Bible does it say that? It does not say that in Leviticus 20:13.

I sincerely hope you one day realise you were never broken to begin with. Christianity is an invented belief system that was cultivated over the past few millenia and has caused unbelievable psychological harm to many people including myself. It seems you were unable to let go of your shame and so you returned to the ones promising you a cure to what they demonised and called an illness. I hope anyone else out there thinking the church will make them feel whole realises that these people are the reason you feel that way. They made you ashamed and demonised a core part of your soul. I live my life without shame, and I am happy. The only people who make my life unhappy are the people who are constantly telling me my life is wrong. They are the problem. Not you, or you're feelings.

Nowadays evangelicals look less painful than activists like Andrew Moffat and Elly Barnes

If you actually listened to the video, you would understand that it was the lgbt community that brought shame to him, not christianity.
I'm also an ex-gay man, though I'm not a christian. What pushed me away from your lifestyle (of choice), and helped me realise that I didn't have to be a gay man anymore, was the same type of gaslighting that you're using in your comment against the creator of this video.
Many people are waking up and realising that being gay is nothing more than a response to childhood abuse and neglect, and isn't only treatable, but are speaking up against oppression they face.

Hello friend, thank you for sharing as I’m sure that was not easy. However, this boils down to truth, and what truth is. Truth is not relative. If I were to identify as a thief and take whatever I wanted from a jewellery shop, I would rightly be taken to jail based on the law of the land. We don’t live in a society where we can do what we want, there are laws that prevent us from doing what we want. Much the same, Gods law is a higher law, and we are all subject to God’s law. We cannot murder or steal or lie because God does not do these things. Reality is centred around God, specifically around Jesus. Because of our sin we will all face God’s court one day when we die. However, Jesus came to die and take our punishment so we can be found not guilty because He loves us. Reality is about Jesus, not us. Have you ever read the Gospel of John? Please do. God bless you.
