Another great repair! Thanks for sharing, question on the end cap, fibreglass repair did you use any fibreglass material or just resin?

I ended up having to lay and build up material on the crack. Tried to film it, but camera kept getting knocked around when I was laying new fiberglass down and could film that part.
That section was very thin to begin with.

so ive watched most of your videos within 2 months and havent able to find an answer to a question i had on them.
i have a hypalon dinghy, do i need to use CSM glue (weaver 2001) with CSM patch? or can i go with CSM glue with pvc patch?
CSM patch is way more expensive.

Very good question, pvc patchs won't stick with CSM/Hypalon glue. Have to use Hypalon/CSM patch with that glue. You could get away using a pvc patch with PVC glue, but it won't hold up as long and will peel away over time.

Usually I remove the whole cone do the job and glue it back....

I would agree with you that. After I opened it up and saw the crack right away, I figured instead of going to the hassle and trouble of removing the end cap, do the fiberglass repairs from behind since there was ample room, save the client some money, and repair the gelcoat from the outside and it will be stronger then before.

After watching you. Loss all the fear of owning a inflatable. Everything is fixable with alot of labor.

You got it partner, pretty much anything is fixable on these boats until the material itself is no good. Just some repairs take longer than others.
