On that same day the Lord told Moses, “Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho, and view Canaan, the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people. This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance; you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.” Deuteronomy 32
"After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus." Mark 9

I've been to that mountain (or at least the mountain that Roman Catholicism traditionally maintains to be the Mount of Transfiguration as I understand it) which is Mt. Tabor. It's stunningly beautiful, and there's a special peace there.

I grew up Christian and took the Old Testament largely at face value as a child. Parts of it never set right with me and I struggled with the morality on display within it, in particular, the parts involving the entity Moses met on the mountain and what it led him to do.
It wasn’t until decades later that I found deeper information and alternative perspectives on this event where everything fell into place. The cause of the intuitive unease I had as a child was finally revealed to me through this information. I wept and felt like such a fool for being misled for so long.
When Jesus said devils and false prophets would mislead the people, he wasn’t just speaking of the future, but retroactively as well.

@ the source I learned of it from was the book The Ra Contact. Session 16.14 was the first the nature of this entity was discussed, but they are referenced later in the work as well.

@@elizabethhaskell5738 The fiery cloud that was followed through the desert by the people was to hide the craft that this negative entity used. The name the negative entity claimed for itself was stolen from another positive entity this people group knew from their past. This negative entity was an impostor.
The ark it gave was a communication device to project its destructive will. Its intent was conquest of a particular land which was beneficial as a staging ground for an empire that was intended to be used for further conquest. It taught its followers that they were elite and chosen to excuse in their minds the acts they would do onto neighboring civilizations.
These people eventually become discontent with following this entity, realizing its true nature, and rebelled against it. This reduced its number of worshipers enough that it lost enough psychic influence to be forced off the planet by positive entities. It was never able to establish its empire but the philosophy it left behind has caused great damage to the collective consciousness of the planet.
The one born in a manger helped transmute some of this negative philosophy into positivity.

@@elizabethhaskell5738 I wrote a reply with some details of the event but it’s been auto hidden so you’ll need to “sort by new” and scroll down to the original comment to see it. This bypasses the hiding filter.
