Sounds good man, making me want to do that to my 08 3/4 ton burban that I got lifted as well then just add a pipe out the back or maybe like n axle dump lol, keep up the good work man ill be watching for sure

Watched your video, unbolted mine from the flange. 2015 suburban. I don’t wanna like it. I told myself when I bought this truck I wouldn’t do these kinda things but here I am, no muffler, 3” lift, no steps and 35s, like a pig in slop.

Literally did this to mine yesterday. Had a flowmaster to go on, but cranked it with muffler/resonator delete and loved the sound.

My 2010 just rusted out after the cat, and i think it sounds like it should. I also followed it the other day and feel like it's louder in the cab than it is outside. I'm still throwing on the MBRP AL just to pass inspection in NY.
that’s because it’s dumping the exhaust right under you. do a full exhaust all the way to the back and it should be less of a headache
Sounds good. My brother cut off his Muffler but never ran the exhaust. All that heat on his rear axle detonated the rear end. At least do a down pipe

Did this affect your gas mileage at all??? I have a 2000 Explorer 4.0 v6 I just unbolted from the flange and it sounds good but I feel like it gets worst gas mileage
i have this set up on my tahoe and i get about 12 in city and 16 on highway
If anything you'd be getting better mileage from what I've researched

I have a 08 avalanche LTZ 5.3L 4x4 stock height for now with DOD displacement on demand where it puts it in V4 mode it sounds horrible in drive when your coasting the exhaust has a fluttering sound. so I just drive it in 3rd it stays in V8 mode. muffler deleted sounds amazing my truck sounds like your Suburban. Eventually I will do a DOD delete that involves changing the cam ,valley cover ,lifters etc..
It's also FlexFuel has AFM active fuel management so I can put E85 in it, but we don't have access to it in my area. Id have to cross the buffalo border, but would not cross to just get gas Lol. Closest to E85 would be 94 here.

I have a custom shaft to put in, I just need to move the exhaust out of the way first lol
Is it just me or do some vehicles ( mainly SUV) not look very good with lifts to this extent, by all means do what you want to with your vehicle but it just doesn't look good IMO 🤷
I as an suc owner agree I mean a 4 -6 inch lift is ok ig but anything over that is over kill

I did my resonator delete with the slp tip and it sounds a little better than stock. I really wanna do the muffler delete
The muffler delete is where it makes the biggest difference! I love the way it sounds 🔥
Dead battery? No money left for an alternative or what? Sounds like you need 3 inch cat back with 6 inch tip out the rear… or go true duals with the same setup. Will sound better, and you won’t hear the wheels humming over the exhaust

Usually it is referring to the horrible noise a v8 truck makes after someone (usually a kid) completely straight pipes, or just cuts off the entire exhaust system including the cats lol.

@@FS2S do they make one for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 LT with springs in the back. Not leaf springs. Biggest lift I can fined is only a 6.5
