In japan, Student - Teacher relationship are a heavy issue. In the Song they're saying " If you're a teacher why dont you teach me that what's wrong IS wrong "
It proves how much the school counselor don't even care about issues like theses.

You guys are totally right. It's about that forbidden teacher-student affair. Sorta like The Police's "Don't Stand So Close To Me".

I've only recently found out about them, but I'm paying a bit of attention. So I have watched only some videos about them yet, but I think this is so funny one with their irony and humor. "Atarashii Gakko" means "a new school". And their original band name in Japan, is "新しい学校のリーダーズ (atarashii gakko no ri-da-zu)". I guess it is translated into English, "The New School Leaders", "The Leaders in The New School" or "The New Leaders in the schools". I think the song title, "恋ゲバ (Koi Geba)" is also very interesting. The word "Koi (恋)" means "love, romance". But "geba" is a Japanese old slang word. This word is a Japanese post-war leftist term derived from the German word "gewalt". It means originally "violence", but means in Japan's leftist term, "rebellion, alert"(I am not a communist, ha). The man and girl in the video are a teacher and his student. AG has a little longing for a forbidden love, but they sing with irony "Why can't teachers just tell us what's wrong is surely wrong?" If it exists, an English translation of the lyrics on the internet, please check it out. The composition is very interesting, as if we are peeping through a surveillance camera, and the cheap scenery of a Japanese urban hotel area (in Japan's big cities there are hotel areas where men and women mainly enjoy meeting). They sing it in an Enka-like rock style (Enka, 演歌、Japanese ballad songs), with a little jazz in the interludes. I, even Japanese, think so too, they are weird!, and great, haha. They sing in a very serious way, but it is not a serious song, comical song, I think. Thank you from Japan.

Definitely a slower and less chaotic song/dance but, still just as good and fun as everything else they do. I have always liked the part where Suzuka is punching Kanon in the guts along with the beat, lol. Love these crazy girls! Looking forward to the next one!

Most of the time this happens in Japan when the kid "misbehaves" in Japanese schools. In the song the girls are supposed to be resembling the misbehaving based on the chaotic and or crazy dancing. The dance is also meant to distract you from what is actually going on behind everything.

the song is about sexual assault being normalized in japanese schools, there are comments in the original MV that say what im about to, Basically, its also about how they're blaming it on there being too many 'bad distractions' aka in representation, the girls dancing. Their bad behaviour is the most focused on with our view as well, that the major problem of the SA of the teacher is hidden with their dancing as symbolism. (im sorry if the explanation was a bit unclear, im not fluent in english haha)

omg i love this song 2!! the girls aren't actually ghosts, lol, theyre dancing in front of the 'couple' (if you can even call them that) to be a sort of distraction so you dont pay attention to them, to represent how japanese society brushes problems like these off. most of atarashi gakko's song are made to poke fun of things, and in this instance, theyre poking fun of the people who follow this illegal 'couple trope'

This is very sad that this happens all the time in Japan and that most of these girls of been into submission whenever they try to go to the administration for help.
