After securing an incredible time in the inferno we now go live to Aatykon for his reaction, Aaty what do you have to say for this great achievement?

Nice run Mr. Kon but I just completed the inferno in 41:32.3 by using RNG manipulation to force Zuk into a legal dispute with his ex wife, allowing me to skip healers entirely and secure the world's first 0 set acb kill by getting ruby bolt procs on every hit. This allowed me to beat your time by exactly one number. Maybe next time champ
Similarly good run by you Mr. kvatch but I utilized a method unknown to any player currently and convinced Zuk into sending a Nigerian Prince 50 million Tokkul. Since Tokkul is made of dead Tzhaar, this caused the entirety of Mor-Ul-Rek and all living in it to be sacrificed to meet this quota of 50 million Tokkul, including Zuk himself, allowing me to beat Zuk in exactly 1 game tick. GG

37:35 Did the healers go under Jad since you started the wave under Jad? Or will they always path like that regardless of where you start the wave?
its some personal trap tech, i create 2 open spaces under jad (jad cant move on spawn tick), so if they drag down the side of jad they fall in instead of getting to me.
normally they'd run round jad and beat u up

You seem more relieved than satisfied with this run, what time are you aiming for to be happy with it?
I'm not really running for a pb/wr, it could be s41 and you'd get the same reaction. If it was absurd like 39:22 or something i'd prolly spark up a bit but for me this isnt about speedrunning its about staying on form. rec is super rng, i don't get happy about being lucky, i get happy about playing well.
as for the ending here, some relief since i was hitting a few zuks on pace for s42, and seeing the milestone is always nice - zuks are ~1/3 to get a decent one so you never know if you'll just plank and lose a good run.
How do you have it set up that the tiles under the npcs turn red when they're dead?

Please do an inferno guide for players who have bad ping, for eg use a world that’s furthest from your location
identical to my fcf guides, ping makes no difference
33:17 i simply don't understand whether it's calculated or he just got lucky with how all 4 monsters on aggro fall in line for a simple 2 tick alternation. looks like he lucky tanked a possible 45 hit from the ranger at the start and then the mage simply fell in place for a perfect off tick. this guy knows something i don't. 7 zuk's in so far myself, i smell it coming soon...
it's a blob-flip 2t trick, you linger on 2t extra range pray in order to re-allign with the range (since i mage started), which also re-alligns the blob, then i step out on tick to begin a 2t with mager and other blob.
it sounds complex but its not really, easy enough to follow along with the timing and flipping, its a good trick for when ranger + blob sees you on a wave start post 50.

How do you get dead npc tiles to turn red
Hey I’m having a hard time keeping up with the Zuk shield and have gotten one hit by Zuk 3 times the furthest making it just past the first mage and range spawn… I have the correct tiles marked 4 & 10 tiles from each wall but any advice for how to walk with the shield I guess?
its ok to be 1 tile in front of the shield, but its not ok to be touching the back edge.
its just how the pathing works, so dont consider even being close to the back
@@aatykon awesome brotha thank you making it to Zuk healers now. You likely don’t watch odablock but he made a short UA-cam video on here with a Zuk fight simulator which was also very helpful
What plugin is it that remove nps and highlights them when you are going to kill them with the projectile?
The removal of dying NPCs can be found in entity hider, the highlight is the tzhaar plugin

With the constant addition of new gear and new metas discover, do you rekon we need or will need a new tier of CA soon, if so, what would you recommend the inferno speed run time to be?
imo, cas are about incentising newer pvmers to do better and improve, and so they dont really need to be difficult, just harder than what the avg pvmer can currently do.
a lot of speedrunners/higher tier players are orders of magnitude above GM CAs, getting GM is scratching the surface esp for speeds.
imo a better time is s60, which was my original suggestion, s55 is fine, but not s50. s50 is "you are a competent speedrunner", which already is way beyond what most people will ever do.
@@aatykon thank you very much for the reply, I wasn’t sure I’d get one but it’s super nice! :) I see your point, i hadn’t thought of the fact that getting to GM is probably enough to make anyone see that they can get even better and want to keep going, even without an other tier to go for.
The sub 60 would have seemed like the obvious choice for gm, sub 1h sounds way cooler then sub 65min, I wonder why they chose to go for 65…
yep, i also speak often about this idea:
if you make something too difficult then nerf it, people will sing praise
if you make something too easy then make it harder, people will scream
in both cases you end at the same point, and thus it's better to make something harder to begin with, because nerfing is ALWAYS better for everyone.
tldr: starting s55, then going s60 would have left people happy with s60, but because they started s65, they can never make it harder, sad really.

@aatykon how much harder would sub 55 have been compared to sub 65? Like do you think jagex would 100% have had to change it? And do you think it's good that the devs sometime change stuff like that altough some players can do it consistently? Or is it bad and stopping people from pushing themselves harder?
significantly, but for gm capable players it wouldnt be a massive stretch, the issue is more that people have 0 incentive to do inferno post-cape, there's no gp.
as such people are drastically worse at inferno than at raids, despite it not being that difficult, and people see inferno as much harder due to this, when in reality its just because people do it less because of no incentive.
i think they would have been pressured to change to s60, which would be a better fit. And yeah overall gm is still for incentivising players to improve, which means it shouldn't feed overly unobtainable or have some super awk tasks. But hey they also upped gm a lot with DT2, so who knows... It could be they're getting more comfy with the idea as time goes on, and thats fine too.

Aaty, do you play any instruments?
i used to play a variety, piano/cornet/trumpet/a little guitar and such, nothing the past ~decade though. I wouldn't attest any rythmical ability to that though, I've always had good pitch/timing regardless which I'm sure helps for osrs.
