These scenes are proof that Muppets Mayhem is going to work. Because the Electric Mayhem is the only group of Muppets that have been allowed to evolve because the audience doesnt have as tight a grasp on them as Kermit and Piggy. These bits are the BEST part of this show.

I know people have mixed feelings on this show but I feel the comedy was pretty strong especially from the band. I find myself quoting Electric Mayhem all the time.
One thing i appreciate about this show is that it had a bit of an egde to it, i love the jokes about them all being stoners and telling dirty jokes. Its not gross, it just makes them seem alittle more real. I loved the mayhem show, but i wish they'd add a little bit more of this in there. Ps love animals "too many women, too many towns"

I really love this show it's been 6 years since they debut... The thing that keeps me excited is lips finally have a voice he is one of the original electric mayhem Jim give Steve his very own role to the other group mirroring him as one of the mayhem 6 (Jim - Dr. Teeth, Frank - Animal, Dave - Zoot, Jerry - Floyd, Richard - Janice and Steve - Lips) but 2017 happens they removed one of the original puppeteer Steve... But I'm still glad the electric mayhem still kept lips thanks to Peter who also doing his blue clues in other media✨

Steve was adamant about fighting for the rights of his fellow artists and puppeteers, and improving their pay and working conditions. Disney executives were not pleased with this, and it was a large part of the reason they fired him; they wanted to make an example of him to other artists who wanted to be fairly compensated for their work. Another main contributing factor is how hard he wanted to protect the integrity of the Henson characters and most importantly, Jim’s legacy and original intentions. This led him to become somewhat overbearing in certain aspects of character continuity- the rumors that he did blacklist certain performers over this is true, and while it certainly was not the correct way to go about it, his intentions were justified. You’d be very, Very hard pressed to find an actual puppeteer who disagrees with what he was fighting for and his overall intentions, though the majority of us do agree that he didn’t always go about it the best way. There were several other minor factors that went into it, and I don’t believe at all that Steve was entirely in the right (no one ever really is), but this was very much an intentional move by Disney higher-ups to quell anyone else who may have complaints about character integrity being stepped on or poor working conditions. I have had the entire story explained to me in person both by Steve himself and another well-known puppeteer who was able to give me firsthand accounts of everything. It is not as cut and dried as you seem to believe it is; there were a lot of nasty corporate ploys going on that heavily influenced everything that took place.

I think the difference for Floyd between Zoot and Dr. Teeth is that he knew about Zoot beforehand, but he never found out about Janice and Dr. Teeth until that moment. Had either of them told him that going in, that probably would have made it fine by him.

It sort of does, it definitely comes the closest of all Muppet productions. I credit Bill Barretta with the high quality of that series since he's an actual Muppet performer who came up with the idea, and not some outside person who just got assigned to it at random

It always baffled me that they made Sam have a crush on Janice for this one series and then it was never so much as acknowledged in any future piece of Muppets media. I almost would’ve preferred they just didn’t include him if they didn’t have a good idea for him, like how Walter, Wayne, and Wanda were omitted for that very reason. I love Sam, but I wish they had a better idea with him.
