New 10+! Seems they emphasized more tech rather than speed nowadays. The streams and arcs should not be sightreaded and needed to be learnt segments by segments. For 4k players, this one is very good for precision and positioning training. Edit: My chosen hardest song if not refering the constant
I think this is what they were going for in Lucent Historia tho, even Designant, a song that had very close chart constant to Testify, focused more on difficult patterns and speed-changing rather than pure speed. Not to mention Astral Quantization being 3rd Avenue 2.0 Overall I’m happy with this direction
@MaluCristallord Yeah, we need to change what the focus of Arcaea now. More fun and tricky tech based patterns to learn, rather than just speeding through the song. P.S.: This is why Arcaea is so much different from other rhythm games. While the rhythm games in general mostly demanded speed and accuracy, Arcaea in the recent versions focus on all as well as tricky tech. The tech surprisingly shows how seemingly index-impossible patterns become possible, which is genius.
There's so many parts during my sightread and subsequent attempts that have me squinting at my phone going "wait... what??" Absolute trip of a chart. Once I can actually get it under my hands, I'm gonna love it, for sure.
Tbf they wanna keep lament rain "exclusive" and as the "second" boss song. While lamia IS supposed to be the boss song in the pack so it makes sense why they didn't hesitate on changing it into an 11

Tbh, I expected this song to be much more chill from the preview, but beyond surpassed my expectations due to enormously tech-heavy patterns

i love how avant-garde the chart is for the intensity of this song
I think this is the same challenge when they were trying to chart ODYSSEIA, which was resolved by charting it to the breakbeats.
