@@Jerseyhunger No, it is used and refurbished. We were assured it would work like new and they have great service to make sure if we have any issues they will make it right. They said even new A5's will need repairs though the training period
@@randybennett5417 It takes a sample from each quarter and does a viscosity measurement by mixing with a reagent. If there is a high cell count it immediately shows up on the health report on our phone app etc. If it is discoloured or bad for consistency it will automatically divert the milk to sewer or M4USE buckets. It's a great feature. This is keeping track of every milking for each cow and individual quarters. Before we could only get that info on individual cows when we did a milk test every 5 weeks. Otherwise it just showed up for the herd on the tank test on each pickup. Even then we had to figure out which teat as well another way.
Your cows look Amazing in the new Barn. They seem to be loving the new Accommodation!!
@@PowershiftScotland Thank you! Yes, they love it. The only thing they had to really get used to is going to the robot to get milked.
Thanks for sharing with me.
great video!
@@harveypenner2386 Thank you very much!!
Liked seeing the calve bottles filled, seems simpler to have the system automatically seperate the calf milk for you.
@@samb6126 It really is! It is amazing how quickly you forget how it was in the old barn.
Hello, was this a new Lely a4?

Greetings to you too!!
I already had an A4 and had a lot of problems. Since the new A5 is so expensive, I'm thinking about getting an A4 again
