What RCD did you use? Looks like standard resedential ones from Bunnings? Did you "earth" the neutral to the car body or using a RVD style device?
Used one recommended from RV builders, can't remember which type it was exactly sorry. And yes earthed to body.
300A sounds too much. That would need massive cables. Are you sure its not out by a factor of 10x?
Definitely over 300amps pushed out mate, not a problem in short bursts. Clamp meter confirmed it.
