Welcome to the Off-Grid Ham Shack series, part 1. In this video we go through putting together an off-grid ham radio station, powered by a Power Queen 100ah lithium Iron phosphate battery, Renogy solar panels, and Genasun charge controllers. The purpose of the completely off-grid radio station is emergency communications, energy self-reliance, survival radio, and ultimately preparedness in group communications during a grid-down disaster.
