In this video I explain limited liability partnerships and the differences between them, partnerships and limited companies with regards to tax and paper work.
Hello, do you have any content in relation to privately owned rental properties, and the best way in which to manage them from a tax perspective? I was advised an LLP would be the most efficient way to transfer them over to a business. But I'm unsure if that would be the best course of action listening to your video on the subject. Thankyou ! I found this video very helpful and have subscribed to future content, please can i request a future video on the LLP propco/LTD opco model, is it worth introducing this complexity to get the LLP car benefits with the tax efficiency of the Ltd Company ? ie An LLP Property Company leases the property it owns to an LTD company ie serviced accommodation company]. Is it worthwhile - does an LLP beat a ltd company in terms of IHT planning ? Many Thanks Adrian
So essentially... if you form an LLP, you better live in a place where personal income tax is extremely low or non existent, right? Can you form a uk llp using a partner that is another conpany, such as a BVI LLC? Instead of a real person?
Good information. Thank you. I reside in Canada where I believe our structures are similar. I’m interested in knowing if LLP’s can set up a corporation to administer the costs of paying staff, office expenses, accounting fees, group insurance, etc.? But also can hold the retained earnings for future growth expansion? I’m planning to work with law firms to help construct the funding for the purposes of succession planning. Looking forward to your reply. Cheers!
how is an LLP beneficial for the doctor who himself is the malfunctioner and has to pay for the claims. I mean other fellow doctors are protected by the LLP. So do doctors have their own insurance or some terms in that matter?
I just bought a travel franchise (selling online travel from home) 60/40 with my fiancé. Im very confused on how we should be set up. I have it set up as a partnership now, but have two weeks left to change it. It’s so overwhelming trying to know what to do.
