@@contraryclarey Westlife were the favourite to win record of the year 1999 by the way and they won record of the year 1999, and it was not to do with singing it was to with girls wanting westlife to be their girlfriend, it has happen with a lot of boybands apart from 2001 by the way i'm sure their was a interview with neil morrissey as bob the builder on the itv news before christmas 2000 talking about beating westlife to x'mas number 1. i think it was during the week maybe 2 days after westlife song went on sale ,not sure if you have that footage and also any chance of uploading record of the year 2003 and 2005 when westlife where record of the year go round the itv regions. that's my favourite bit
I think Brian hurt Shane. Remember, Shane got the first Solo deal, but he turned it down and stayed with the band. When Brian got a solo deal, he didn't think twice to say goodbye to Westlife. So it didn't make sense to pretend to be close after such betrayal 🤷♀️. The lads were all hurt, to be honest
