I use camera bag to put the pocket trumpet into backpack or carry on. I usually travel with Carol Mini in a small camera bag.

Concerning your case issue. Carol Brass does make a soft padded gig bag for your horn, which comes with shoulder strap.. It’s actually really nice. Thank you for posting your review! Very much appreciated!

Honest review, it was a good 8 minute watch.
Is the CB trumpet for sale?

Other than for travel, I could never understand the purpose of a pocket trumpet. I bought a cheap $300 pocket trumpet so I could keep one in my car so i could play with one hand wile commuting on interstate or parked, but other than that, I never use it. Just stays in my car

Btw: thanks for the review I was interested in the CB but not for a grand ... I bough a nice 30 year old Tempo Master for a $100.00 it sounds better or as good as my $1200.00 Yamaha. Unless a player is a profession like the host of this channel you really don’t need to spend a lot for a Trumpet to get a nice sound.

If you have a Bach I’d like to hear a review....my music teacher has a Bach Stradivarius, my student Yamaha sounds the same to me....I won’t argue that a Bach might be built better ( maybe) ....but it’s not in the class as a Harrelson or a Monette yet their prices are almost as high.

Hi Paul. I haven't actually owned a Bach Strad for many years. However, I owned and played several of them for at least a decade so I have good hands on experience with them. You are correct in thinking that the difference in sound and playability between a Strad and your student Yamaha is not be that noticeable. However, although it is small difference, Strads are pro model horns and will have more resonance in tone, play better in tune, have better valves, and overall play more freely than a Yamaha student model horn will. Again, it is not a night and day difference. However, there is enough of a difference between them that owning a Strad over a student horn makes sense for any pro or advanced trumpet player.
The best analogy I can think of is the weight of running shoes. The difference between a lighter shoe and heavier shoe is usually just a couple of ounces or so. Most people would never feel the difference in the weight from daily wear. However, if you are someone who runs extensively, shaving off even a couple of ounces of weight makes a big difference after hundreds of miles.
With that being said, it really is about the player and not the equipment. If you are a good player, you will sound good on anything. However, when you're someone who plays hours upon hours every week, and does it for a living, even a small boost in tone quality and playability can make a big difference. Hope that helps.

Eundo Park Mr Park thanks for your exhaustive detailed answer to my student type question. Now I understand the differences. I was looking at it from a snap shot perspective not they way you perfectly explained to me. Perfect analogy with the running shoes. And you’re so correct, me playing a Bach I’d still sound weak, you playing the plastic horn you still sound profession at the highest level. Thanks for answering my question, you set me straight. Don’t tell my music teacher 👨‍🏫 what I said about his 4k horn 🎶😇

Could you tell me if this pocket trumpet has lower notes (C and D) intonation problem like other pocket trumpet? I have 2 other pocket trumpet but I really can not use them on my band due lower intonation problem.

The intonation on the lower notes (and pretty much all of the registers) is actually really good. The 3rd valve slide on it is not great, but useable. But overall, compared to other pocket trumpets I've tried, the horn blows very evenly and has pretty even intonation, very close to a normal sized Bb.

If anybody wants to know about this horn, this guy is not your man, he is obsessed with destroying CarolBrass. There are real experts out there who love these, they are great.

And Oh Yeah, the player is stuffy and ignorant of what a range of mouthpieces can achieve. Only ever listen to HornTrader if you want an honest opinion of any instrument.

Thanks for your comments. However I am not sure how you got that I am obsessed with trying to destroy Carol Brass. I actually really like Carol Brass horns and am a huge fan of the products... I just happen to not like this particular horn. Also, like most pro players, I own many mouthpieces (100+) and have tried many different setups for this horn...all with relatively similar results. While mouthpieces can make a difference, there is only so much they can do if horn plays a particular way. If that weren't the case then we'd all be playing beginner model horns with nicer mouthpieces.
Like you I am also a huge fan of Steve at Horn Trader. I wish I were half the player he is and I love his review videos. However, Horn Trader is a site that sells all the trumpets they make videos on... I'm not trying to sell you anything. I'm not insinuating anything but you can take that for what it's worth.
