Personally, I myself like the darker, serious tone of the first Watch Dogs. Kinda fit the mood of the mission; taking down an evil corporation. In this one, it feels like they're like: "Let's do this for shits and giggles! Oh, and also take down Blume." I also like the seriousness and 'get down to business' part of Aiden (my only passable factors of him).
I agree 100% aiden had more personality, charisma and could be taken serously, he was a complex character with an emotional story and fitted the description of a hacker(not very sociable always stuck to his phone , selfish doesn't care for people's privacy, goes illegal easily, thinks the world is data for him to collect). Watch dogs 2 is partly the fans and critics fault for not giving watch dog's dark and serious mood a chance to improve. It was a solid base that needed improvements nothing more imo ofcourse.

Horatio's death was so predictable. he never appeared in any side missions and hardly in any main mission ether. they could at least record some more dialogue for the side quests
But if they did record dialogue for Horatio for some sidequests, and the player waited to do said sidequests until after the end of the game, it wouldn't make sense. It would be like Horatio came back from the dead.

Predator got defeated by fuckin Walter Goggins playing as a prisoner with little to no actual combat experience. Not to mention that a Predator, known for their technology, got defeated by a fucking swordsman. If one alien was dropped in that predator movie instead of the humans then each predator would be killed with ease so even if his argument is invalid there are plenty more to pull out, especially since the alien's combat style and biology allows it to counter most of the weapons and tactics the predators use. Blasters? Aliens are far too agile. Nets? Acid blood allows it to escape when it tightens. Close combat weapons? The Alien has an obvious range advantage and far more impressive feats in comparison to a predator not being able to keep up with a human swordsman.
A lot of the sins consist of “how does this help take down Blume?” You don’t think breaking into a popular movie set, stealing it’s iconic car, painting it, then driving around the city would gain followers that then give you more processing power

The "final boss" for watchdogs 2, some waves of heavily armored guys, was REALLY disappointing. In 1 the end with Lucky Quin was so much more gratifying even if it was just dialog. Hell, the end to 2 where you fuck up the main baddie is just you walk up to douce in his apartment say "your plan is ruined, fuck you." And leave letting police take him. And to top it off its all a cutscene so you have no control. Horribly disappointing.

Like any sane person; to not have them instantly fail the mission just because the player chose not to follow the breadcrumb trail or decided to approach the objective from a different angle.
Halo 3 had good "You are leaving the mission" limitations. Instead of just flailing you they set up cool traps to kill you when you try to leave. Like on a sand map there were mines and on a snowy one there were high-damage npc turrets to shoot you.

I just played the 3-hour trial of Watch_Dogs 2 and from my experience, I'd like tae say that this game has less cringe than the cringefest that is Need For Speed 2015... and that is a racing video game. Agree or disagree and despite that I said Watch_Dogs 2's treating the original like a beta test, I'm supporting this game because Ubisoft actually managed tae make a step forward this time. 'Tis a small step but, I'm starting tae kinda like it. (I dinnae remember I commented on this video yet... Oh well.)

For those who haven't played the side mission "The Name Game", if you complete it to the end, you will know Wrench's real name.
I can see this game takes a very mainstream unrealistic depiction of "Le An0nymouse xD" I'm pretty sure they would be more into ironic shitposts and take a more deep webish approach instead of a newfagish veneer over their game.
Its a game about some hackers fucking around and having fun.

i loved the first watch dogs, and i finished the story in that game. however the story in this game, i just couldn't get through it. there's a limit to how much cringe you can take.

I just played the 3-hour trial of Watch_Dogs 2 and from my experience, I'd like tae say that this game has less cringe than the cringefest that is Need For Speed 2015... and that is a racing video game.
Agree or disagree and despite that I said Watch_Dogs 2's treating the original like a beta test, I'm supporting this game because Ubisoft actually managed tae make a step forward this time. 'Tis a small step but, I'm starting tae kinda like it.

This game does have it's flaws but i can stay inside it having fun by hunting and escaping bounties, making cops and gangs fight or even choosing your own approach of playing the game whether it be full stealth or guns blazing.
