Dude, just found your channel this morning. Me and my 9yr old have just started getting into Lorcana but only with starter decks so far.
Your videos are by far the best I’ve found for explaining decks, tactics and synergy between cards. Have definitely made me want to get deeper in to this and explore deck building more.

Yeah my friend plays a Ruby/amethyst very very similar. I found this deck challenging. Until just recently I built something that he now struggles to beat. How the tides have turned.
Love to hear Ruby/Am can still be relevant! Do you do your commentary during or after the matches?
I've tried both. Currently I've favored after the matches simply because I can speed up the footage and maybe even cut some dead time. When I do it live I'm often left waiting for very long turns at times. Is there one you prefer?

I think Ravensburger just made it to where the other inks could be competitive with it.
Yeah the other inks have made leaps and bounds catching up to what these two ink colors can do together.

what do you think of the red 3 drop uninkable Sisu that takes out a character when played that has a strength of 1 (Hiram, Rapunzel, Evasive Minnie etc)
It's a good card. I think it's at it's strongest in red blue since Ice Block allows you to manipulate your targets strength which lets her and Medusa hit a lot of targets they normally can't. Here, she absolutely locked into stuff with one strength. So for that reason (plus being uninkable) I wouldn't personally run her here, unless your locals is loaded with targets where she's going to be super strong.
Could also run her if you know you are running the bigger shift target.
How does it do vs Bucky floodborn discard? That’s the most used deck in the game right now
This deck loses to it. That’s why the deck gotta innovate and change. Can’t keep playing the deck the same way 3 sets. Not gonna work especially now with how fast this game is going. Bouncing a character to play another one is really slow in my opinion.
I've actually crushed that matchup consistently at my locals(4 - 0 this past week), but you do have to see the right cards in your open. Castle has HUGE value in that match up as they have very little ways of threatening it unless they are on Rise of the Titans. And in general your bodies are bigger if you have Snake/Fox. So I try to to value Castle and sometimes Fishhook too. I really like opening Olaf as well since it can out Merfolk if they are on that.
Nothing is a guarantee of course but Minnie also can be a huge help with early pressure. But Castle above all else threatens to just refill your hand if they don't deal with it. And once you get to Tremaine/Be Prepared territory you should be in the clear.
R/S kind of kills this very easy 😅 too many Brawls/Sisu/Ice block...and the Maui is still a 4x to deal with castle. Havent seen many R/A being played at all...its a tad slow imo but who knows with time
I usually try to go aggressive against that match up. Look for an early Minnie, Castle, Spell Book. Sometimes it goes sideways but I've beaten a lot of R/S at least early in the meta. Unless you brick it's not as lopsided as it first seems.
I have a pretty interesting ruby amethyst list that doesn’t revolve around the bounce package if you’d like to give it a try! Would love to see someone else’s thought process when playing the deck.
I'd be very curious to know what that looks like. Seems like Mim/Merlin is mandatory. Feel free to share it!
@@rudrose_tcg It plays Madam Mim Fox still but the merlins and snakes are cut and it focuses mostly around floodborns and removal cards I can post list for you to try it.
@@rudrose_tcg The one card I really like atm is the 4 drop shift minnie. You can play her turn 2 and sing king undisputed or friends with her. She is also evasive so she can take care of diablo.
@@beardedcat9744 Early songs like that are always super strong. There is potential with a lot of those flood borns there. I want to find room for King Undisputed but it's more uninkable and I value Tremaine for the same thing with a body attached to it.
@@rudrose_tcg True yeah if you want you could replace it for like teeth and ambition would pretty much do the same job, but I mostly use it for the Bucky since you can’t deal with it before turn 6 if you use only Tremaine.

It very rarely comes up as you are usually better off getting the second body on the board. But the 10 ink Tremaine into Tremaine is the most common one I'm aware of.

@@Andre_Cabrera I agree with what beardedcat said. Dragon FIre is a good replacement as it's the only real replication of removal. Doesn't feel amazing to have another uninkable but if they drop Tammatoa on 8 ink with a Dime ready to go, you will be grateful to blow it to oblivion. Plus it hits things Medusa cannot. You could also run Scar Vicious Cheater but they have to be exerted for him. He's amazing at cleaning up tiny bodies but still strugges with bigger cards.

@@lorcanamans Oh that's fun. If I can get my hands on more Flynn might try to push him more although I'd have to rearrange the low end a bit to support him.

One of the pluses and minuses on Pixelborn was that you can't control what you are paired against. At my locals I have faced green/steel 3 times in best of 3. Smoked it the first two sets and got trashed in the last one. Wish I had that footage to share :(
