I'm only just catching up with this vlog today but I really enjoyed the chat! I also feel the same about armholes that are too long! Everytime I lift my arms the whole top, jumper ends up around my neck! Very annoying! That pig is soo cute! I never think to be serious about row gauge-perhaps I'm wrong but I always thought it just meant you made the length shorter by doing less rows of knitting but I realize that if there is shaping then row gauge is important. That means I will now have to be serious about doing a gauge swatch-I'm usually just wanting to start the project and end up skimping on the gauge swatch! Looking forward to your next vlog
I was never one to guage swatch either - don't have the patience!! But since I've started - I like my sweaters much more!! I still do a lazy swatch though...I never make the full 4 inches 🤣
I think your'e right-i'm sure the garment at the end will be much better! Your crop top that you were wearing is very pretty-you did a great job!
