If I had a bed on the verandah I would have jumped under the covers snuggled up & listened to the rain.. How perfect would that be.. Doesn't matter how big or small you make the pond, June Bug will be laying in it to keep cool.. She doesn't need much water as we saw when she was laying in the puddle as the hose was going.. lol Love the PJ's Rae, who cares if you go out onto the property with them on, no one sees you except us who love the Doss Family.. Sometimes when it's cold it's awesome to spend the day with your Jamas on cause it's too cold at times to get dressed..The guy on the 953CX CAT is doing a great job, I was watching him on Doss Outdoors,I could have watched him working for a lot longer, though.. lol Your place when finished will look fantastic.. Last but not least you are a great Son to be helping your Mum & Dad as are your Brothers Kyle & Matt.. Kudos to you all..

Now that was some wonderful rain happening! Something Canada needs to put out the fires. Lucky Doss's that get to sit on the veranda and watch the rain. Your Doss acreage is looking awesome. You are like my first born son, he will be 50 in a month, he comes to help when I need anything, make that both my sons! I could not ask for better son's than what I have. Befor my husband passed he told our son's that they would be looking after me now! Four of my children have taken it literally! 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙🙏🙏🙏🙏Prayers for Ralph and LeaAnn and all the Doss families
The individual you hired to clear the lines is doing an awesome job! Chad you and Rae are doing a phenomenal job of taking good care of your land and making it more fertile for use, whether for grass or other things. ❤ you all.
Chad, and Rae, the guy you hired is doing an excellent job. We totally understand what your talking about of the trees. We need to re-clear our back road on the property. We had to let it go for a couple of years while I dealt with my parents passing, and their estate. Travelling every weekend for 2 years to Texas. Now that were back home fulltime, the underbrush is terrible, and we have some fallen trees due to winds and because some of the trees were rotten. This will be a fulltime undertaking. We'll work on it as much as we can with the hand equipment, and tractor. While we save some extra money, then will hire someone to help with their equipment. like y'all did.
Rae a little secret on living out in the country....we all run around in our pj's/nightgown to work in the garden, harvest, feed animals, or just chillin. We don't have to answer to no one, not even neighbors because they don't live close. Oh, and we don't have to worry about the darn HOA's!!
Love not having close neighbors! Go out in PJ’s all the time and sometimes just a T-shirt!!

Did you see Daniel Arms video today? That pond had sooooo many fish not counting the ones they couldn't save. He hated losing what he did, but it doesn't account for the ones that made it to the creek. He fileted a bunch 5hey couldn't save, but the varsity are gonna feast for a time.
I love the sound of rain and rolling thunder. Our town got 7.4" rain in 3 hrs flooded streets water in basemends and our gravel driveway disappeared! It was hurricaine remnants.

My husband’s Dad was using chainsaw and it bounced back and cut his leg big time. (Husband was 12 or 14 years old) Doctor at Hospital said if he did put pressure on his dad’s leg he would have bleed out. Wouldn’t be here!?? His dad worked in logging in East Tennessee.

Youre sure right about the oppressive humidity!! Since my heart surgery, I have a hard time breathing in that wet air. Y'all are doing a great job around there!!! I always worry about livestock out in thunderstorms, as I have seen stories about lightning strikes killing a whole herd of cows that were clustered together under trees. Malarkay!! Iffin it got tracks on it. it's a dozer of sorts in MY book. (the only one I trust) If it has a bucket assembly that pulls toward the main unit, it is a back hoe, if it has a tall tall thingie that sticks way up in tha air, it is a crane of sorts, Iffen that arm has a bucket that swings out and drags back, it is a drag line. Saw one of them in Illinois in the 60's where the bucket could hold three city busses across inside of it. Skiddin n steering was something I did in my car in the winter. Got too many smart alec people with keyboards nowadays Chad..Probably never got their hands durty either.
Love hearing your plans for the property man. I dream along with you. When youi picked up the walnut wavos and were cutting the lengths of trees I was imagining some really nice boards out of that. Walnut makes some really nice furniture and wood projects. Same with maple, hickory and oak. Hickory and walnut also have some great nuts for eating too. Havent feasted on the REAL onces since I left home. DANG.. Don't make it weird. Deuces man.

We got between 8/10 & 9/10 of an inch of rain today. Not nearly enough to make up for the past dry conditions. It rained from about 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. But every little bit helps.
You need to get some hummingbird houses for them to stay in.

Iv grown up on a horse and cattle ranch (I’m 57 now) in mostly mountainous terrain and in the weather those cattle know exactly where to go what to do and when to do it. We’d often do grain down low at the gate end, on horseback of course, just to keep them trained to the lower mountain. Down in the winter, up in the summer, anyway for those of you who might not know it stays very dry under the pines and other trees. Besides that they prefer the rain over cover unless it’s severe weather😊. Chad has amazing instincts and if ever he did question anything he knows who to call. It’s sad he feels he has to continually explain himself. Please please just enjoy the videos y’all🤗. I see deer just about everyday and will never tire of it🙏🏻amen.
