whenever I hear this song I am quickly reminded of the transfiguration story and how Jesus revealed Himself to the three. I can only imagine their unsaid reactions, what they felt when they saw Him. Then the voice of the Father speaks and all of them fall on their faces in fear and awe. I pray to be attuned to the revealing of Jesus in His Word. May I nor you miss it ever, the more you learn of Him, the more beautiful He is.

My parents have recently been divorced after almost 22 years of marriage. My dad spent half of his life in ministry and my mom was always by his side through all of it. Out of nowhere, my mother was filing for a divorce because she "couldn't find her true identity in her husband or God" and so she was done just like that. My dad tried everything to reconcile the marriage but nothing worked. Through this tough time God has revealed himself to me and my dad like never before. God has used this situation of bad only for the good and there is nothing that I can complain about. These lyrics sung are words that I just scream out to God in the days that I am longing for him to be there. God never fails, he always perseveres through our hard times. Trust in the Lord always, he will guide your ways like you would have never known before.

About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John, and James up on a mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was transformed, and his clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly, two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared and began talking with Jesus. They were glorious to see. And they were speaking about his exodus from this world, which was about to be fulfilled in Jerusalem.
Peter and the others had fallen asleep. When they woke up, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with him. As Moses and Elijah were starting to leave, Peter, not even knowing what he was saying, blurted out, “Master, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials-one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” But even as he was saying this, a cloud overshadowed them, and terror gripped them as the cloud covered them.
Then a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him.”
When the Voice finished, Jesus was there alone. They didn’t tell anyone at that time what they had seen.

There’s a story in the Bible where Moses had been with God and once he had to go back to the people, these noticed that his Face was shinning. Jesus transfiguration happened when he was also with The Father and I believe after spending time with God in prayer our faces shine.

This song made me cry this morning even though I have heard it many times and love it but today I was reminded of my three sons when they were growing up we always made a confession on the way to school saying "I am going to have a great day today because the greater one lives in me and I can do all things through Christ who loves me and gave himself for me....Satan you are bound in Jesus name you will not interfere with my day ...thank you father God amen"...my son's are now in their forties and life can be tough for them..their father remarried and lives in the UK but as I was listening to this song I was reminded of the confession so I am going t o send it to them all just to remind them God i s with us reveal in us Praise Him ✝️

My friend was killed by a hit n run. On July 27 2020 she was transported to st Francis hospital and died 2 days later. She was not ok and had been suffering from mental illness and addiction she had been homeless for 10 years and would not accept help. I can’t stop playing this song and crying .
