    You’re a master of your craft. This is amazing. To me shoes is the one thing people more than often get wrong. So this is very helpful

    0:38 when you shade and you create a mesh exactly in that shape, how do you do that?

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  2 роки тому +3

      I mask the shape that I want to extract and then I use a plugin called extract plus to extract that piece for me, you can download the plugin here www.artstation.com/a/10407473
      I hope this answers your question.

    Hi Oasim! Thanks for this video!
    I just had a question about the stitch brush - Is this good for 3d printing as well? Or will it have some gaps between the modeling so will it be hard to print?
    Thanks so much for your work

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  6 місяців тому

      Hey, thank you so much for the kind words! For 3d printing, make sure to make them a bit larger, exaggerate them, cause you have to keep mind that all renders get softned. Once you have them layer out merge them with the mesh they are sitting on, dynamesh them and you should be ready to decimate and send to printer. I hope this helps

      @@karmieh I see!! dynamesh so that there are no holes? Thanks!!

      @karmieh  6 місяців тому

      @@행국 Yes, just make sure the stitching touches the model so there is no gap between the stitching and the model, this way when you Dynamesh you get clean results.

    I want to download the shoes you made in this video. But I'm not an English speaker. This writing is also using a translator. Is it possible to download this? If possible, please write down the download link.

    another question :)
    this method will leave you with high poly mesh right? how would you lower it for importing to game engines? would you retopologise?

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  2 роки тому +1

      Not really, once you extract that piece you can Zremesh it to low poly and then you extrude that clean topology, check out this photo and you will see how clean the topology is when you use this method public-files.gumroad.com/xkr2gqs5di934m3p09jvup7xtkej

    it is a real time course right ?

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  3 роки тому

      Yes, in the full course, there is no speed up, I go over each step in detail. And you also receive the final 3d model.

    I'm halfway through this. It would've been better for me to see you use the default layout as I'm not too familiar with the program and you often click on sliders and buttons that I have no idea how to find.

    • @karmieh
      @karmieh  2 дні тому

      Yes, I totally agree, Did you download the UI with the course? if you did load my UI then just hover over any button while holding ctrl or command and it will show you where each button is, if you haven't received my UI here is a link to download it, this works with ZBrush 2021 and up drive.google.com/file/d/1mQ1IOhqj3Twe5D5uPIutqzxmU0eChWUc/view?usp=sharing

      Whatever tools make you happy 😁 at the end of the day they are just tools, it's the result that counts.
