Thank you for posting this. When I heard the news of Marty Balin's death, I thought of this song. Big Sur and Humboldt County and Yosemite Valley will forever be the home for my memories connected with this song. Rickie Lee Jones sings this so exquisitely, giving a woman's point of view for the same emotions and experience that Marty Balin brought to us so many years ago.
