Everything about this zoo is insane. The glass roofs, the rock work, the cages, the layout. So much detail and still so realistic. Btw, i'm Dutch and at the zoo where i worked we had a lot of squirls. They were my favourites. They really enjoyed the interaction when feeding them. They also enjoyed peeing on visitor who got close. Their aim is incredible. I miss those guys.
@@DeLadysigner Vogelpark Ruinen. Het is klein vergeleken bij andere dierentuinen, maar de collectie zeldzame en beschermde vogels is erg indrukwekkend en een van de grootste in NL. I love watching these videos and getting ideas. I'm 80 hours in and still feel like I've only just scratched the surface. I also love your enthusiasm. It's great playing your videos while I'm building because I can just have a break, look over to my other monitor and get inspiration and ideas
I used to live near Kelvingrove park in Glasgow and you can certainly see the influence of the Art Gallery/Museum and local architecture on the zoo. I've considered trying to recreate the Museum before as a zoo.
Ho I went to Glasgow at the beginning of the year, unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the Kelvingrove museum but the city center is magnificent, it's a super inspiring city!
Thank you. The hard thing was getting those red buildings (like the pub and old entrance building). Then the European pack made lots of the old pieces recolourable and suddenly it was much easier to get the Glaswegian vibe.
This is a cool zoo, but my only complained i have is that those glass roofed structures should have been broken into multiple sections, since there aren't a lot of pieces of shadow for the animals to hide in so when it gets really hot, the animals get overheated because the glass makes it even hotter. I get why Frontier gave us that block for the exhibit animals (Some are just way to small to justify its own buildable habitat for), but they should have given us more variations. Like, maybe make a Horizontal one and a vertical one... but give us the ability to change their sizes, so some bigger exhibit animals wouldn't feel out of place in the small cubes. Like, the spider for example is fine in the small exhibit, but the Iguana's feel out of place in such a small cube, but we also have bigger and smaller frogs for example, so it would be better for the bigger frogs to be in a bigger cube.
"are those vending machiness? aww soo cool!" Omg, i just love your videos and i love how dramatic you are, it makes the tour so much funny, never change
It's actually extra realistic that the komodo dragon babies are separated because the adults will eat the young! They're actually semi-arboreal until they grow enough to get too heavy, because hiding in the trees is the best way to stay away from adult komodos. It would have been so cool if they'd included that (the tree climbing, not the cannibalism!) in the game, but alas.
This is gonna be a bit strange to say, but I love the zoos that are so natural/realistically built you could almost smell them. You guys pickin up what I'm puttin down?
In response to your squirrels comment: Yes, in the US, there are squirrels EVERYWHERE. If I look out at my backyard on any given sunny spring/summer day, I am basically guaranteed to see at least one. There are indeed some squirrels that no longer fear people. There was a squirrel we ran into on vacation three years ago that climbed my mom and I like a tree and would not leave us alone. I have pictures.
Wow I never really thought about how normal it is for me to constantly see squirrels in America. They literally are everywhere here. And yes, the squirrels living in big cities usually have very little fear of humans.
I have to agree to what you said about them kinda always releasing the same type of animals :( I wasnt hyped for the tropical pack one bit cause we've literally been begging for some type of bird oder aquarium pack
Do you really think I would be promoting them for more than 2 years if it would be a scam? 😅 In my Discord (link in bio) you can see all sales made with my link from the whole community with A LOT of Planet Zoo sales, haha! 😊 I use these type of key selling websites for many years already and they saved me SO much money, especially on the sims 😅
Question Is this Zoo just for the looks, which I must say impressive... or is it actually functional? for a franchise zoo? ( people and animals happy in every way ).
Hi. It's really just looks. It's not very functional or practical, although I think most enclosures do meet the animals needs. Some might be escapable. Some of the feeders and enrichment aren't accessible to keepers.
Ahh I LOVE THIS. I’m guessing it’s inspired by Glasgow Kelvingrove?! I’ve been considering creating a zoo inspired by Glasgow, but could never do it like THIS. It’s amazing!! The crane addition did it for me
Hi thanks. It's very loosely inspired by Glasgow, with big pinches of Edinburgh and London Zoos. Wanted to capture the higgledy-piggledy feel of a old city zoo with buildings from all through the 20th century. Thanks for watching.

I'm sooo glad someone got that! That's exactly why I built it with two enclosures!
Amazing zoo. All those empty aviaries show, that birds are still missing in Planet Zoo :(
I know. So true. If you build a zoo without the aviaries it just doesn't feel realistic.
For real. I live in New Zealand and our zoos have SO MANY BIRDS.

There is so much to comment on i don't know what to say, so i'll just say a very generic "This zoo is pretty amazing."
Thanks!!
