DEADLY Mountain Road "Speed Trap" • EVERETT SLOANE & WILLIAM CONRAD • SUSPENSE Classic

This upload is actually the 2nd time this story was done by Suspense (like a LOT of the mid to late 50's broadcasts) PLUS it sounds suspiciously like a public service type episode . . . However, those things being said it turns out to be a pretty good story. It's about a rookie State Trooper learning how to handle a dangerous mountain road on a rainy night (during his first time out!) Sound quality is good, too.

✓✓✓√√√√✓√ STUFF-N-SUCH: Reminder - As we get into the mid to late 50's the sound quality just isn't as sharp as the older episodes (you'd think it would get better) Blame it on the use of poor quality audio tape. Also, this one comes from a surviving recording by the Armed Forces TV & Radio Service.
