Adeola you have made many excellent points…. This is why when I’m dealing with the issue of LGBTQ+, I don’t bring in religion….. the reality here is just Biology….. I don’t think issue of LGBTQ+ should not be openly tolerated…. If u find yourself in any of those categories it’s okay for you…… when you start broadcasting it like a normal norm, that is where my problem comes in….. I believe the Ghanaian parliament passed that bill on the grounds of how folks go about publicly….. their doing have the capacity of corrupting folks minds…… this is why in the bill you see advocates carry a higher sentence….. that shows you they are aware of the LBGTQ+ community existence in their country but do not want their practices to be broadcast as society norm in their traditional value….

    • @josephconstant7443

Man is a completely designed machine. The male has around 36 trillion cells and the woman around 28 trillion. There are nearly 7,117 surviving languages on earth. "According to a recent calculation by a team of biologists and geologists, there are more living cells on Earth - a million trillion trillion, or 10^30 in math notation, a 1 followed by 30 zeros - than there are stars in the universe or grains of sand on our planet. Which makes a certain amount of sense".
The designer or designers behind the existence of man has made no mistakes, and you have absolutely, no authority to condemn their work which includes the LGBTQ+ community and you and I and everything else in infinite Space and in, and across all dimensionsof the Cosmos.
You have no rights whatsoever to sweat over, who is here, on earth and who is not, and how they must act, when they are here. You are here, with a certain fixed race/color and with a configuration of properties, attributes, likes and hates - none of which you bought from the local pharmacy/chemist. The LGBTQ+ person is a pre-ordination of the Gods just like you were made of whatever color that your wear, and with no know prior decisions or consents of yours, at the design tables of the Gods, when they wrote the specifications for who and what you are, and your assignment to planet earth, in 21st century earth.
Respect all, and respect will be extended to you by the Universe - the source of the existence that you find yourself involved in.
Adeola was extremely mild, soft-toned and mostly appealing to the world and her audience - that it is time to respect the natures of others especially those, that have been effectively brutalized, by the tenets, dogmas and holdings of religions.
Adeola knew that she was threading into extremely dangerous discussions zone especially among the African community, but it was a truth whose flag needed to be raised.
The LGBTQ+ person is exactly the way they are as the factory of the womb configured them amd delivered them to Earth. The womb itself is executing a programming of the Gods.
I hope that you can come around to embrace the golden theme "LIVE AND LET LIVE" Please, let them be. and RAIN on them the same peace you wish upon yourselves and the protections from the bigots of the worlds who are masked, cloaked, concealed, veiled, and camouflaged in the vestments and elements of religions.
Whether there is one true God or not - it does not matter but what matters is that one should refrain and not participate in the intentional unsettling and rattling of the Peace of Others.
The Ghana anti-LGBTQ+ bill is a collective hate-crime of the people of Ghana and mimics and echoes the same awful decisions of their leaders a few hundred years ago, during which, Africa rounded up their sons and daughters and confined them to the to the wicked worlds of the Plantations of the Americas.
HATE IS NOT GOOD. LET THE LGBTQ+ community be.!

Thank you my dear. I was about to say this but you said it all. This would leave our country in a worse mess if we condone this. we have not handled immorality, corruption and greed na to come add LGBTQ and let it corrupt our children. This is even worse than what Sodom and Gomorrah did before God wiped them out. we cannot adopt the nonsense from the west to mess ourselves up the more. the worse case is that they try force it down our throats and expose our little kids to this nonsense. I agree and support the bill to prevent any form of LGBTQ.

Happy Sunday Adeola! In reference to the LGBTQIA++ topic, I absolutely agree with you on the basis of what the bible says about “sin”, however, in my opinion, the difference here is that there seem to be an agenda to “normalise” this particular sin as being right, hence enforcing such to even be part of the schools curriculum, and in the process educating children on the fact that there’s nothing wrong with such act, thus making it a choice of one’s way of life, so to me, countries that have decided to curb this mentality is having to pass such bill to make a statement towards that effect.

Culture means a peoples way of life and their belief system. These things never stay the same, always moving and changing. In short, culture is not stagnant, it is dynamic. It was our culture to kill twins, have slaves, sacrifice human beings and not educate girls. Does it mean we should have continued doing these horrible acts because that was the culture then? To be a better society, this so called culture, that infringes on peoples basic human rights, should be discarded and thrown to the trash bin of history. Gay people are not hurting anyone, they should have the right to choose their sexual orientation. Live and let live. Worry more about how our society will be a kinder and more humane society, with better job opportunities, good health, long life and prosperity. What consenting adults do in bed is not our problem in Africa.

This law as it is isn't based on religion. LGBT is simply a case of perversion; evidence of the work of mind twisters. People who have the money and resources to model the world and let it play out in certain ways; parading all sorts as fundamental human rights (which by the way you just mentioned).
God doesn't have a problem with law of the land as well. If anything, we are to obey.
Lastly, going to prison is not condemning them.
