I've been slowly and steadily picking up Sea to summit items. They are so lightweight and feel robust. I hate it when my pack exceeds a certain weight limit. excessive weight just ruins a good hike.

I used an ultimate Direction 24l for a 4 day section hike of the PCT with a tarp, bottomless net tent and an sol Eblanket and my 40F quilt with a neoair woman’s pad. Everything was 9lbs with my chair.

Really dialed in, well done! I'll put my pack under my feet with my torso length pad. You ever had issues with Weka (or Kea?) while using your shelter? I have a floorless shelter as well, but it's a single pole pyramid so I guess I feel a little more protected!
Does the BD22 keep everything low bounce when running? I like the adjustability of underarm lacing in a vest, but having pocket space there is also really nice. It's getting warmer here in NZ, hope to get out on the trails soon! :)

I get very minimal bounce with the BD 22. The harness is really nice and snug on me so it's not an issue.

Hey bro! Thanks for reaching out. Super cool to hear you are planning a solo trip, I'm sure you'll have a blast!
Those 2 options are both great choices, the mingha Deception has quite a few river crossings and boulder hopping so you'll want to be confident on your feet and with river crossings. Another option to check out is the Casey - binser saddle loop. It's a super fun overnight loop with some great tramping. Definitely worth checking out! Please don't hesitate if you've got any other questions!
