Also, "it takes a worried man to sing a worried song and I'm not one of them" is one of the all-time great lines.

Is it just me or does this sound like Jack White during the intro? He was probably rocking this as a kid

Always reminded me of the Stones (and I mean that in a good way). Wish they had been more consistent on their albums. Loved this song, but not a lot of the other tracks on this release.
Like the low-fi energy of this band too. Reminds me of that era when bands like Guided by Voices were doing interesting stuff.

I got to see them LIVE in '95 with GBV and Paul K and the Weathermen at the Southgate House in Kentucky. Needless to say it was a little psychedelic that night......freaky kids and adults were prancing around the venue the entire night....and the sounds that were coming from their amps that night were spooky in a good way. What a turn on!

It is criminal that this brilliant band is so little known, especially here in the UK,but to suggest that thiers been no cool music since the '90s is ignorant & lazy.Im a fat, bald 48 yr old & even Ive heard of Brimstone Howl,The Mojomatics,The Yolks,King Khan & BBQ,Jim Jones Revue & Thee Oh Sees to name just a few.Every decade has its great music, dont fall into the same nostalgia trap that my generation did 90s kids, its the music that matters, not how old/young you were when u first heard it!

@weisslakejps Hey! I worked at WRAS in the early-mid 80's and we did have a kick-butt station. That is so cool you commented on that. And listened. It was some really great underground/indy stuff. There is still some great music out there but you have to dig for it.
