Camping is totally up to how someone chooses to enjoy it and is a personal choice. You make it your own. Although I jump around various videos of youtubers, I enjoy watching different ways people enjoy the outdoors and that everyone is safe. It is unfortunate Korean law prohibits nature camping. I was wondering why I always saw graveled sites. Love your videos and your aesthetic choices! Great job!
Okay for some who camp regularly, cutting the floor can be necessary for multiple reasons. Keep in mind some tents come with cutouts for heating sources. This option lessens the risk of a fire and burning the whole tent down. I watched in another video of seasoned campers who lit their expensive tent on fire and had to cut away a good bit of their tent from the back wall to most the floor. Our kitchens aren’t carpeted for a reason. This also is reasonable for preparing meals and reducing clean up of spills of food and cleaning dishes, to even creating a mud room when coming in from the rain. The company needs to consider creating an option as many companies including bell tent manufacturers who are now giving the option for a zip out. Could the bottom be save and an option sewn on to re-add it, sure? However there is a valid and reasonable explanation for his decision.
This is FANTASTIC! I live on big island Hawaii in a 10x20 tent. The space in your setup is amazing, I love it. Just not sure how an inflatable will do in this extreme UV area🎉

EASILY some of the nicest wooden easy assembly camping furniture I’ve ever seen!! This man’s casual product placement is great ! The Black Label setup and the whole Stanley/Starbucks shelf were a nice addition !

Yeah...I was thinking the same thing. Looks like a nice enough guy though. With the captions "Having fun by myself" and "I'm not lonely" then when he was drinking looking like he was getting a little "tipsy" along with the fact that he brought and set up the Black Label and the other liquors in a cool dispenser without having any one else with him I was thinking that, when he was sitting staring into the fire deep in thought, "this guy's gonna get wasted and off himself'. Don't know why that popped into my mind. Hope he's enjoying himself.
IMO There Was No Need To Cut The Bottom Of The "Expensive" Tent OUT For What Now Your Feet Is Exposed To A Wet Dirty Ground Covered In Snow🙄 I Would Prefer You To Keep The Bottom Of The Tent Just As You Brought It And Cover It With Some Thick Plastic Along With A Few Area Rugs So That You & Your Feet Will Be Dry And Comfortable While Walking Around Inside Then Again You Said It Best You Come Up With Some Strange Ideas If You're Ok Then I Guess It Will Do Just Be Safe & Enjoy Your Camping Experience Also I Like Watching Your Channel Too It Was Thoroughly Interesting As Well As Refreshing Thanks A Lot For Sharing Take Care A New Fan, Subscriber Peace❤

Your bonkers for cutting the floor out of a very expensive tent. The reason for sown in groundsheets is to stop pests and water from getting into living space. I camped for 20 years before Arthritis got a hold of me, so I ended up in a tin tent (caravan). I really miss propper camping and would do it all again if I could. 😊
I also enjoy watching these types of videos but where did the bravery come in? Did you see where he was "camping"? Didn't look like any Bears or Mountain lions were gonna jump out from anywhere. I guess that there was a chance that his mom could have come out of the house and busted him for taking their booze from the bar but other than that...I don't see what he was "so brave' about. I nearly lost it when I saw you cutting the flooring out of your tent but I understand why you did it. They do make flame retardant mats for the floors so sparks can't damage your tent or ignite a fire and non combustible Heat Shields for the walls around the stove. I didn't know if you didn't know about them or just didn't want to use them. But your tent build was awesome to watch... it made me envious because that is something my husband and I did together while he was still living. I miss it.

That's a lot of stuff you have there. You must have a tractor trailer truck to carry all your camping gear. Why leave a large opening in the front of your tent open, when anyone can walk in while your sleeping? Come to think of it, you should invite the whole neighborhood, there's plenty of room. That’s a very fancy setup. I’m wondering why the 2 sources of heat though - the wood pellet stove and the gas heater. Is one not enough to heat all of the compartments?

there are liners that go under the stove and protect the tent, so I wouldnt have cut the floor myself. That said, its his property, and he likes it better this way, so thats his choice, and this would make sense for ice fishing (though not in the same room he has the stove for clear reasons) they also might just add zippers later so he could readd it back like ive seen done before
First my blood pressure went sky high when the pumper broke you had to literally pump with your own energy. I literally died when you cut that expensive floor 🤭🙆🙆🙆
I can understand cutting the floor when you are basically creating a porch. The thought that won't go away is, all that stuff and going winter camping without a shovel? Though I suspect the next camp will have a gold plated tool rack with 6 custom shovels.

Oh wow I’ve never seen someone reaping off the tent lining floor so peacefully 😅 subscribed! After reading some comments, I got an idea that you could cut it but not entirely (only three sides) and fold it to the side and if necessary in future you could unfold it and use some tape to fix it back again.. of course it wouldn’t be so aesthetically pleasing

He cut out the bottom because he had to personalize the tent. He had to make it his own.

펠렛난로도 마찬가지.. 제가 가지고 있는건 자리 너무 차지해서 차라리 없애버릴까 하는 중인데 이건 진짜..좁은 면적에 높이가 있고 반면 화력은 짱짱한거 같고 대박이네요

Im surprised, cutting that bottom tent didn't create a dangerous level of condensation in the tent. It's purpose is to be a moisture barrier.

Oh wow I’ve never seen someone reaping off the tent lining floor so peacefully 😅 subscribed! After reading some comments, I got an idea that you could cut it but not entirely (only three sides) and fold it to the side and if necessary in future you could unfold it and use some tape to fix it back again.. of course it wouldn’t be so aesthetically pleasing
You can just lay down fire blankets or fireproof floor covers for the purpose of the wood stove. No need to cut a good tent. Nice set- up though 😊

My boy had the JD and the black label on a dispenser 🤣🤣 that’s great. As far as the cutting goes. I’m sure there’s a reason for it. Honestly. It could be useful in the future too. Like double for a indoor shower or something
