Hey everyone, this video was taken down by an idiot who abused the copyright system but has been restored thanks to the UA-cam team. Also in the video i say the festival is in "Czechia", but it seems to most its still refered to as "Czech Republic"
Both are correct, Czech Republic is the full name but Czechia is also an official name. Czechs just really seem to dislike it for some reason as we're not too fond of changes in general even though both terms are correct.

Brutal Assault is my no.1 metal festival. Been there 3 times already - 2019, 2022 and 2023. Will definitely continue going. The fortress, the organization, the lineup......everything is fantastic about this festival. And when it's too hot, you can just hide in the fortress itself. Trust me, it's really refreshing to hide there if there is like 30 celsius outside.

I come from the town in which brutal is. Some people love it other people dont. The mayor of our town hates it the most, he wants the festival to move to a different place. And his doing everything in his power to make it move. I personally love it. Became a metalhead thanks to this festival thank god this exists.
The hell is wrong with that guy, Brutal Assault must be such a good thing for your town, I remember when I was there I really liked the town, I thought to myself if it wouldn’t be for BA I’d never end up visiting this cute little town in CZ, so tourism wise must be amazing for you guys.
That´s true. Brutal Assault is huge economical benefit for the town, hence, the council co-operates with the organizers whole year around constantly improving the festival site making it bigger and better every year. I remember year when an excavator digged some war bombs :D :D @@danielpicon8012

Thank you for including Brutal Assult in your videos, that´s awesome. And please kindly welcome to visit it. I believe as an enthusiast you are you would love it. I´ve been working on Brutal Assault hosting bands since 2013 and I´m very proud on how well organized it is (compared to Download festival in the UK for instance, on which I have worked too). It´s not as small as it might seem from this video. There are 6 different stages and the highest attendance was something between 25.000-30.000 visitors (before the "C" word we don´t say loud in here). The food is placed great emphasis on and there´s no plastic cuttlery allowed. So please welcome to CzeKia next time you have a minute. :D I bet you won´t regret. I was at BA in 2016 and 2017, and it was an absolut blast - but don't forget about hearing protection, especially on this fest, as fortress make stages sound painfully loud at times.

Yeah, especially the small Obscure stage in the back of the festival grounds. The one with a huge brick wall on the right side. My right ear got obliterated by D.R.I. and Strigoi last year. This year I just caved in ad bought those damn plugs.

Went this year, my first time, and had a blast. So glad for the movie theatre because if I had to stand in the sun for twelve hours I would've passed out. Aside from the potential heatstroke it was one of the best festivals I've ever been to.
What movies did you see? and what bands?
One of my favs in europe. What gets me always is the diverse lineup. Hardcore, Blackmetal, Prog, Metalcore. You name it, you get it.
There was specially lot of hardcore this year.

I was at Brutal Assault Fest 2011 after WOA. I stayed at a hotel nearby. They have a bus that takes all festival goers if they choose to ride the bus. Or take a taxi.
Been there two times, 2022 and 2023. I love everything about this festival! Kudos to the organizers for doing an excellent job! Much saudade for BA 🖤
I was there this year. Had an amazing time, lineup was phenomenal and didn't even have to do too many compromises on what bands to see and what to skip. Cashless system is efficient and keeps the queues short because people don't have to wait while cards get declined and whatnot. Beer tents were plenty, food was excellent, prices were cheap (comparing to Finland), and overall venue was just superb. Me and my friends had one of the hotels that they sold through their website and even that worked extremely fine with no issues. We took an uber from Prague, arrived at the hotel, checked in, got a beer while waiting for the bracelet queue to shorten and then were good to go. Only point of complain I can think of right now is the fact that the shuttle buses between festival grounds and hotel had some hiccups in timetables causing them to sometimes run max 40 minutes late (which was especially grating at 2am), but other than that it was just excellent experience. 9,5/10 would recommend.

Well, looks like I'll have to go to this festival next year. Luckily I already live in Europe, and it just so happens that my birthday is the first week in August!
This year it was my second time at Brutal Assault. It was awesome. I already want to go back and this video made me miss it even more. :D
Originally from Czech and living in New Zealand. Been at brutal 3x best organized festival. This year was the best. Best holiday you can wish for 🤘🤘🤘🤘

another great feature are shuttle buses from brutal accomodations in Hradec Kralove and other nerby cites/villages, they take you right up to the gates of festival just in case your the one preffering sleeping in bed rather than in a tent hopefully see you next year !
It would be interesting to go over other festivals that are no longer around and maybe what happened like, Tattoo The Earth, Ozzfest, Mayhem etc. I doubt youve been to these (i have but im old hah)

I've been for the first time this year and really no other festival I've been to can compare to Brutal Assault. I am definitely going next year! It really became my favorite metal festival of all time. You should definitely go if you get the chance!

I was there in 2022 and yes the food was quite good, lots of variety, it kinda seemed like a food/metal festival. Compared to other smaller festivals I’ve been to like Tuska or Mystic the food in Brutal was way better

It's Czechia. Some govt. asshole probably thought it sounds cooler than Czech republic but it sounds like dogshit.
3:56 is actually grosser than you think. See that gray bar on the opposite wall? That is a trough, and that handful of people standing by it are most certainly pissing. If you were standing by it you could occasionally get the smell of fresh piss. I used the urinals on the right wall but was not courageous enough to use the trough. However, many others, including one guy with his ass fully exposed, were more than fine with it.

Been to six Brutal Assault fests in my days… amazing times!
I’ve actually been to all three of the big festivals on that weekend (Brutal, Bloodstock, Party San) and Brutal Assault wins big.

Nope. Those two big ones next to each other are main stages. One is being played at and the other is being prepared for the next show. There is also a club sized stage at the other side of the festival area, supersmall stage inside the fortress walls for really obscure bands and an inside ambient stage next to the horror cinema. But the inside stage usually smells like sweat and shit so I only go there for the absinthe lemonade and leave as soon as I can.
